What are Stablecoins?

This week we will focus on a new topic related to stablecoins which are a type of cryptocurrency that aims to track the price of an asset like fiat currency. The purpose of this contest aim to discover the ins and outs as well as the different approaches these types of cryptos, and we want to read your understanding.

Ever since cryptocurrencies began to dominate minds before the markets, one of their most significant drawbacks has been evident to many: volatility is an issue. Investors and risk-takers may see the volatility of cryptocurrencies (including Bitcoin) as very tempting and a way to get rich quick. But for the average user who wants digital currencies as a mediator for buying and selling and facilitating commercial transactions, the story is different.

Of course, the reality of the extreme volatility of cryptocurrencies left a huge hole in the field, and it made sense for some companies to try to fill it. The alternative here is the so-called stablecoins. Where these currencies are distinguished from Bitcoin, Ethereum, and others, by the idea of a fixed price that does not change.
