Crypto Academy Week 02 has come to an end and I am extremely happy to see the level of participation by students. As I mentioned earlier, season 03 has all the ingredients for all levels of students and it was an honor for me to teach the advanced course.
It was my 1st course in the academy and I am encouraged to see the response by students. A total of 51 students have completed their homework tasks and submitted for grading. I would like to appreciate all the students who put full effort in producing quality homework and tried to understand the course.
We have learned about the Market Structure Break Strategy and how to use it to trade reversal. I have tried to keep it very simple while explaining so you can get hold of the strategy and apply it in your real trading as well. Trade entry and exit criteria were discussed separately to make things more clear. Examples from the crypto assets were shared so students can know how it looks like in the real market.
The homework assignment was made of the following questions that need answers.
1 - What do you understand about Market Structure?
2 - What do you understand about Lower High and Higher Low? Give Chart Examples from Crypto Assets.
3 - How will you identify Trend Reversal early using Market Structure Break? (Screenshots Needed)
4 - Explain Trade Entry and Exit Criteria on any Crypto Asset using any time frame of your choice (Screenshots Needed)
5 - Place 2 demo trades on crypto assets using Market Structure Break Strategy. You can use lower timeframe for these demo trades (Screenshots Needed)
Areas for Improvement
It was great to see that students understood the strategy and produced some great quality homework. I would like to mention few areas of improvement that were observed during the homework tasks checking.
You should focus on the presentation style of homework and it can be improved by keeping your text alignment in justified settings. You should use custom dividers to separate different parts of the tasks. The heading font and style should be same throughout the task.
I have observed in task of few students that chart style was changing. You should keep the same style of charts throughout the task to make it look excellent. In addition, few students were using mobile screenshots which is not good especially when you are explaining any trading strategy. So, it is advised to use desktop charts to have better clarity and visibility.
There was some confusion among students about the trade entry and exit criteria. To clear the confusion, I would suggest everyone to know that you can place Buy positions as well as Sell positions on crypto assets. You need to use margin trading or other platforms like metatrader4 to execute both types of orders.
Practical approach was missing in many of the tasks because students just marked the trades on the chart but did not place them in the market. You need to understand that placing the trades in the market is compulsory and you can do it on demo accounts of metatrader4 or you can also place trades with minimum amount in your real accounts as well. The purpose of giving this question was to make sure that students learned the strategy and are able to place trades in market. We are looking to mentor you to be good in the market, not just for the sake of homework.
Results Statistics
I am sharing the week 02 results statistics where 51 students completed the tasks and submitted for grading while 01 task was incomplete.
Homework Content Quality
I have categorized the grade marks to assign quality tags for homework tasks.
- Excellent - Above 8 to 10 marks tasks were graded as Excellent
- Good - Above 6.5 to 8 marks tasks were graded as Good
- Average - Above 5 to 6.5 marks tasks were graded as Average
- Below Average - Less than 5 marks tasks were graded as Below Average
It was great to see the number of excellent tasks was 20 which shows the hard effort put in by the students who understood the strategy and applied it effectively. The number of Good Tasks was 9 while average grades were given to 13 students who have also done a good job. Only 9 tasks were graded below average that includes 4 tasks marked as plagiarized.
Homework Content Quality
Steemit Crypto Academy gives special importance to the originality of content and we want students to make genuine efforts in completing their homework tasks. In week 02, There were 47 tasks that were unique and I have found 4 students doing plagiarism which is against the rules and spirit of the Academy.
There were two types of plagiarism spotted in this week tasks and I call them smart plagiarism and an attempt to cheat the system. In the first type of plagiarism, students are taking articles from the internet and using alternate words to skip the plagiarism software. In the second type of plagiarism, students were using charts of other students or the internet and posting them as their own which is just cheating.
It is requested to all the students to make genuine efforts and do not try to cheat the system because it will lead to your Ban from the academy. We can give chance if you have made a mistake but if you are trying to cheat the system, you don't deserve a chance because it will be unfair to all the students who are working hard.
Top 03 Homework of the Week
It was so difficult to decide the Top 03 tasks because there were many great articles and all of them deserve to be among Top. This competitive environment is the beauty of Steemit Crypto academy and it keeps the students making hard efforts and continuously improve to achieve the Top mark.
Top 03 Homeworks are announced for week 02 that was held from 4th to 10th July 2021. I would like to say congratulations to all the participants for doing excellent work.
It was a great experience teaching in Crypto Academy and reading excellent quality articles. See you next week with another useful course that will add practical knowledge to your Crypto domain.
