In my today's blog,I will be doing the homework task for professor @sapwood from his lecture on steem and Tron. I will be answering question one.

(POB) means proof-of-brain. it is a name given to the process used for distribution of curation and author reward.the reward is usually gotten in a form of upvote.

(POB) is a concept in steem network,a "reward pool" that is design to encourage content creators.

Authors create contents that add value to the platform by producing meaningful materials and as well keep the existing users engaged and entertained. By doing this, its promote and spread the currency and change the network effectively.

For a content to be upvoted by any curator, this determine on how well a content engage In the community also the value its adds.

Curation is a reward I receive for gethering content that are relevant,quality or sharing of ideas, thoughts and interesting topics on steemit. When my post is upvoted is called curation reward This means that, my post is worthy and valuable in the curators eyes.

Therefore, the more valuable a Piece of content can reach, the higher reward the author could earn.

In addition, Curators hold higher or more influence of steem currency in the platform and they are able to cast a bigger vote than those with less

Curators goals is to distribute rewards to authors content specifically for engaging in Meaningful and quality content that adds value to the platform.

• steem power is a Measurement of how much influence every steemit user has in the steemit network. the more steem power, the more a user can influence the value of posts and comments.

• The benefit of building sp increases the amount of curation reward and vested tokens that can be earn.

• Building steem power help your votes, posts and comments to be profitable and stronger also its helps to gain more influence on approving steem witnesses

• building steem power help to add value and progress to growth in the platform network by powering up

• Building steem power help to promote steem and extend social reach which is a good way to build steem network.

Self upvote is a bad behavior. An author should not appreciate his/her work by themselves. Reasons is you can't be the judge of your work, you must allow others to judge and reward your efforts. Doing this is seen as an abuse and disrespect.

When you post and your post is not supported, look for a solution, ask yourself what you doing wrong. It may be as a result of you're not following the rules of the community, you don't cite your sources,you are not using the proper tags on your post or it may be that you ain't constructive with your content enough etc... This are the solutions that you should seek. Withal, it is an abuse for a user to vote his/her content.
