Assalamualaikum and good night everyone, welcome to the Steemit Crypto Academy season 4. This morning I will write a post about NFT Markets as a homework post for professor @imagen and this is my fourth post in this season.

Professor has explained about NFT Markets in the learning post that has been shared with this community and now it's time for students to finish the homework that has been given, there are five main questions that must be answered in this homework and I will try to answer them in this post. I am very enthusiastic to start it because this is new knowledge for me.

Q1.) Explain in depth the Nifty Gateway platform Who was the founder? What is the target market or target?

NFT is getting more and more popular this year and the NFT market has also developed very well and one of the famous platforms that provide access to NFT trading is the Nifty Gateway platform https://niftygateway.com/ owned by Gemini company which was originally founded by two brothers named Duncan and Griffin in 2018. The Nifty Gateway platform provides access to trading NFT assets such as paintings, drawings, writings, songs, music, various other works of art, and various other unique assets. This platform that runs on the Ethereum blockchain network has successfully attracted a number of famous artists from all over the world and the company's target for now is to realize the achievement of one billion NFT collectors.

In this platform, anyone can sell and buy NFT assets, generally artists will sell their art to collectors and these collectors can also sell them to other users because NFT assets can be traded freely on this platform. In accordance with the established NFT asset issuance standards, the Nifty Gateway team will first check whether a work of art is worthy or not for sell. Following are some of the NFT trading methods found on this platform.

• General
  The artist will sell an NFT asset he owns at a certain price to a collector indefinitely and collectors who are interested in the asset can buy it at that price.

• Auction
  The artist will sell an NFT asset he owns within a certain time limit based on the highest price and the collector who manages to place the highest price for the asset will get the asset.

• Drawing
  The artist will sell an NFT asset he owns at a certain price within a certain time limit and collectors who are interested in the asset can register as potential buyers, then the collector who is entitled to buy the asset will be selected based on a lottery conducted after registration closes.

• Bidding
  Almost the same as Auction but with a longer time span, the artist will sell an NFT asset that he owns within a certain time limit based on the highest price and the collector who manages to place the highest price for the asset will get the asset.

To make it easier for users, Nifty Gateway offers two types of payment methods in every transaction, besides using cryptocurrency, users can also make NFT payments using a credit card. The two methods have different commissions, of course, the commission for the case of payment using cryptocurrency is 10% of the sales proceeds while the commission for the case of payment using a credit card is 15% of the sales proceeds. The platform also has a very easy to understand page display and you can find various unique assets traded here.

Q2.) What are ERC-1155 tokens? How are they different from ERC-20 and ERC-721 tokens?

In addition to the ERC-20 token and the ERC-721 token, one of the other types of tokens running on the Ethereum blockchain network is the ERC-1155 token. The ERC-1155 token first appeared in mid-2018 and this token can be said to be a more complex combination of the ERC-20 token and the ERC-721 token. Developers continue to innovate in the Blockchain world and the ERC-1155 token is currently widely used on various Blockchain-based gaming platforms in particular.

The ERC-1155 token has one smart contract that can manage an unlimited number of tokens and this can be said to be better than the smart contract contained in the ERC-20 and ERC-721 tokens. A number of Blockchain-based gaming platforms have used ERC-1155 tokens in their operations and all items contained in these games can be purchased using ERC-1155 tokens.

ERC-1155 can be said to be a multi-token with multi-function because it can combine the schemes found in ERC-20 and ERC-721. Problems and errors that often occur in the case of ERC-20 such as transfer errors to the wrong address causing the loss of tokens can be overcome by the ERC-1155 token because this token allows the user to cancel the transaction if there is an address error so that the user's token can be returned to the user's wallet. In addition, a number of ERC-1155 tokens can also be sent simultaneously in one transaction so the commission fee is lower while a number of ERC-721 tokens must be sent separately so the commission fee is higher in this case.

There are several options in the Products menu, such as Platform, Wallet, Marketplace, Efinity, and JumpNet. As the main menu, this is a frequently accessed menu. On Platform options, you can search for general information about this platform and generate NFT based on a number of conditions. To save it, you can install Enjin Wallet in the Wallet option. Then you can trade NFTs and find various other information on Marketplace options, such as Marketplace Volume, Blockchain Assets, and Assets Sold.

You can also explore various other information by exploring the Marketplace in more detail, click Explore the Marketplace. Then a display like the one below will appear and it can be seen that there are currently 17,475 items on sale. Apart from Marketplace, there are two other options in this section, namely Activity and Rankings.

Q5.) In your personal opinion, what is the future of NFT Markets? Give reasons for your answer

Everyone will have a different point of view on this matter because this is a very relative question. But I think the NFT market will continue to grow in the future and will continue to grow in popularity because the cryptocurrency market is predicted by some experts to be even more powerful in the future. The NFT market has also received positive support from artists and collectors as it has succeeded in bringing extraordinary innovations into the blockchain network so that artists and collectors can trade NFT assets more easily.

With the advancement of cryptocurrencies in the future, the NFT industry also has the potential to be increasingly popular with increasing enthusiasts, of course, but vice versa. If the cryptocurrency market suffers a setback, the NFT industry also has the potential to fall too. Currently the NFT industry has entered into various sectors and has shown very good progress and I always hope that things will get better in the future because I want to see the cryptocurrency and NFT industry grow in the future. Meanwhile, Enjin has also become one of the important actors in the NFT industry because it can be said to be one of the pioneers in this regard and continues to exist to this day. With its various advantages, the ERC-1155 token is becoming more and more popular today and has been considered as one of the best types of tokens running on the Ethereum blockchain network so that it can be considered as an option other than ERC-20 tokens and ERC-721 tokens.
