Hello friend, You are welcome to read @jasminemary post. How are you doing today? In this post, I have discussed crypto adoption in Nigeria and how to buy STEEM tokens.

What is the level of crypto adoption in your country, and how popular is the Steem token?

The level of crypto adoption in Nigeria is increasing day by day as Nigerian youth see cryptocurrencies as a means of sending money to their loved ones abroad and a means of making a living from them. Despite the ban that was placed by the Nigerian government on cryptocurrency trades, where the central bank of Nigeria instructed banks to block accounts suspected of trading cryptocurrency, it has never stopped Nigerians from trading on cryptocurrency.

Currently Nigeria is facing an economic downturn, which has made millions of Nigerians reinforce their position through the adoption of cryptocurrency as the leading country in Africa. Currently, as it stands right now, cryptocurrency trading is what most Nigerians are into, and to that end, millions of Nigerians have continued to gain access to cryptocurrency-related activities such as trading and shopping. Most Nigerians have become so interested in cryptocurrency because of the opportunities in the crypto industry and how cryptocurrency and blockchain offer people financial freedom.

To add to this, in Nigeria, we have more than 10 crypto exchanges where Nigerians can easily buy and sell cryptocurrency. Most of these exchanges are Roqqu, Quidax, Remitano, Bitcoin Patricia, and many others. Beside this cryptocurrency exchange owned by Nigerians, we still make use of other crypto exchanges like Binance, etc. for trading.

To show you the level of crypto adoption in Nigeria, the Roqqu Exchange currently has more than 1.5 million users. Inclusion of cryptocurrency adoption is getting more popular every day in Nigeria, as millions of Nigerian youth are now getting interested in crypto. Also, the presidential candidate of APC, Bola Tinubu has promised Nigerian youth that he will make Nigeria one of the top crypto countries if he is elected.

STEEM is very popular in Nigeria. As we can all see, there are so many Nigerians on this great platform, which just goes to show how popular the STEEM token is. The majority of the local exchanges in Nigeria have STEEM tokens, which makes it easier for us to buy and sell STEEM tokens. Beside Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (BNB), and TRX, STEEM tokens are next in line.

Highlight the various ways users in your country utilize to buy crypto assets.

Just as I mentioned earlier, in Nigeria, we have more than 10 crypto exchanges that have made it so easy for Nigerians to buy crypto assets. Most Nigerians like me buy crypto assets from Binance, Roqqu Wallet, Quidax, and Remitano Wallet.

On Binance Exchange, Nigerian users make use of a P2P system, as shown in the screenshot below.

When buying crypto assets via Binance P2P in Nigeria, all we have to do is open an order with a seller and pay the required amount before notifying the seller to release the crypto assets. This process is very easy, and I have been using it for more than a year now.

On Roqqu Wallet, when buying crypto assets with fiat currency, we have two options for making deposits: wallet peer-to-peer or bank deposit. The wallet peer-to-peer is very easy and fast, and all we do is fund Raven wallet and send the money to our Roqqu wallet before buying crypto assets.

Prepare a guide on at least one of the ways to buy Steem in your country (practical steps with screenshots required).

Here I will be using Binance Exchange to show you how to buy Steem in Nigeria. All you have to do here is sign up on Binance if you don't have an account yet. Now, in a case where you don't have USDT, BUSD, etc. on your Binance exchange, all you have to do is first buy USDT, ETH, or any other crypto of your choice from the P2P network.

Although in my case, I already have some USDT in my Binance wallet. In this case, I open Binance and click on "Trade."

After I have clicked on "Trade," the next thing I do is change my order to "Market" and type in the quantity of USDT (10.4880 USDT).

I then clicked on "Buy STEEM" and immediately it became successful, as you can see below.

How would you rate the ease of purchasing Steem tokens in your country? Highlight the difficulties in buying Steem in your country, if any.

The rate of purchasing Steem tokens in Nigeria is high compared to the purchase of other cryptocurrencies. A lot of Nigerians are aware of Steem, and the majority of those who find it difficult to write on the Steemit platform prefer to purchase the token and sell it later. In that case, buying STEEM in Nigeria is similar to buying other cryptocurrencies.

The difficulties in buying Steem tokens in Nigeria are due to the limited exchanges that offer STEEM tokens. Roqqu and Binance are the two exchanges where we purchase Steem tokens in Nigeria. Roqqu seems to be easier than Binance. The difficulty in buying Steem tokens from Roqqu is the 2% transaction fees that the exchange charges both on purchasing and selling.

The only difficulty that we are facing with Binance Exchange is that it is too technical for most users to handle. Roqqu, which looks simpler, doesn't have spot trading or other functionality when it comes to trading. Inclusion of the rate of buying Steem tokens is okay, but I think it will be even better if other local exchanges in Nigeria offer us STEEM tokens.

What's your opinion on the future of the Steem token? And what method of buying Steem would you like to see made available in your country?

My opinion on the future of the Steem token is that it is going to rise above $1 before the end of this year. The STEEM token is going to become one of the most popular social media tokens, and the price of the token will make so many people start accepting Steem tokens as a means of payment.

Steem is going to rise stronger than before. The method of buying Steem that I would like to see made available in my country is a centralized method where one can buy from and exchange directly. And in addition to this, I would like a method where Steem has its own exchange where we can buy from Steem Exchange directly from our Steemit wallet or its exchange.

The STEEM token is a very nice token that I believe in, and I am sure it will surely reach the moon soonest. I am inviting my fellow friends..: @temitopef, @yakspeace and @preye2.

It's true that most Nigerian youths have adopted cryptocurrency because of the economic situation of the country, as they now see it as a means of making extra income to support their finances. I agree that cryptocurrency is very popular in Nigeria and one of the top countries on the world of cryptocurrency.

I also use more of Binance for buying Steem and the guide you showed us is very easy to read and understand. I wish you the best my friend.

@jasminemary Cryptocurrency adoption in Nigeria is on the rise despite a ban on trading by the Nigerian government. The country's economic downturn has led many Nigerians to see cryptocurrency as a means of financial freedom. There are over 10 cryptocurrency exchanges in Nigeria, including Roqqu, Quidax, and Remitano, which have a combined user base of over 1.5 million. The increasing popularity of cryptocurrency in Nigeria has been further boosted by the promise of a presidential candidate to make Nigeria a leading crypto country.

Thank you for your compliment.
