Hi steemians I'm delighted to be participating in this Beginner's course Task 1 from the fixed six courses
I want to appreciate professor @sapwood for a well detailed and well explanatory lecture he has given.
(1) What is PoB? What does curation mean to you in Steem Blockchain? What are the benefits of building SP? How do you explain self-upvote as a good or bad social behavior & why? Explore Coinmarketcap.com to indicate rank, STEEM price, and coinmarketcap of STEEM(screenshot required)? What are the different tokens do you earn by socializing in Steem Blockchain?
OR
(2) Explain the difference between [SP, STEEM, SBD] & [TRX, TRC10, TRC20 tokens](with examples)? Explore Coinmarketcap.com to indicate the rank, coinmarketcap, and circulating supply of STEEM and TRX? Which exchange are you familiar with where both STEEM and TRX are listed? Does it cost any fee for transacting STEEM and TRX? How important is the use of Memo while transferring STEEM from Steemitwallet to an Exchange wallet, do you essentially need a similar memo for transferring STEEM from Exchange wallet to your Steemit wallet?
OR
(3) Difference between isolated judgment & Community judgment in Curation? What is the general voting window in Steem Blockchain? Please vote a post that is older than 7 days and tell us your experience, does it consume your VP, does it produce any monetary value? What is the difference between 50% SBD/50% SP payout and 100% power up? Suppose your VP is 90%, if you upvote with 100% voting weight, what will be the VP after voting?(Note-Before voting a post check the VP status in Steemworld.org, take a screenshot, and take another screenshot after voting)

Proof of brain
source
In the education system, teachers or lectures give assignments to their pupils or students and these students or pupils are expected to critically carried out this assignment by tasking their brains and conducting different sources for related information that will aid their course.
After the assignment is finalized and graded these pupils or students are graded according to the effort they put which is proof of brain.
In steem, proof of brain is the reward for content created by the author which being broken down is thus: "The reward pool(65% of the total), the stake-weighted mechanism(SP), the wisdom of the people, all put together"
Proof-of-brain is described in the Steem bluepaper as having the following two properties:
_a pool of tokens dedicated to incentivizing content creation and curation (called the "rewards pool")
-a voting system that leverages the wisdom of the crowd to assess the value of content and distribute tokens to it
These two properties come together to allow the Steem blockchain to distribute a large portion of the block rewards using human participation as the mining mechanism rather than using electricity and finding hashes which traditional proof-of-work blockchains utilize. The human work is what is valued here rather than the hash rate of your army of computers.source
From the reward pool, proof of brain is rewarded. Proof of brain does not receive 100% of the reward rather it is distributed thus:
Content Creaters & Curators(PoB)- 65%
Witnesses- 10%
Vested Tokens Holders(SP Holders)- 15%
Steem DAO- 10%
From the above, it is shown that proof of brain has a higher percentage of reward. It also shows that the content creater and curators are both involve in proof of brain.
Another thing I observed from the above is that, steem as a decentralized blockchains distributes rewards to every party involved in making the steemit Blockchain progressive.
What does curation mean to you in Steem Blockchain?
Curation is the act of up voting a post with the up vote button especially if the post meets the criteria like originality of the post, creativity of the post, applying markdown and neatness of the post and most especially the impart of the post to the person voting the post weather educational, motivational or both.
It follows that curation to me means that, when a post is up voted it is curated as shown below.
For someone to curate a post and the content creater gets a good vote, the content curator's influence must be appreciable that is, he/she must have up to 500 and above SP.
What are the benefits of building SP?
The benefits of building steem power can not be overemphasized in Steem Blockchain
It is the measure of influence an individual has, which give him/her more privilege over post payouts and allow him/her to earn on curation rewards.
Because Steem Power can also be delegated. An individual with high SP can delegate or donate SP to new users to help them perform actions on steemit Blockchain.
With large amounts of SP say 150, a newcomer can participate in Cryptocurrency academy beginners class but without it, that person has to strive to achieve it. It follows that a low SP can restrict a steemian from participating in what he/she wants to participate in for instance, @jollybake cannot participate in intermediate classes and advanced classes of steemit Crypto Academy because of low steem power.
With high SP, a steemian attracts users to his/her post.
Powering up is an excellent way of building SP and it is encouraged in order to help build the steemit community.
In the reward pool there is a percentage designated for SP holders, 15% is benefited those with high SP level.
How do you explain self-upvote as a good or bad social behavior & why?
Self-upvote is when an individual upvote a post created by himself or herself.
This can be as a result of not having people vote the steemian post. Actually, I'm guilty of this fact because most of the times after taking my time to create content, it's not acknowledged or up voted as supposed but have stopped.
Because steemit is a platform that rewards good quality content created by individuals in a particular community that individual finds himself or herself, I realise it is not a good social behavior and does not speak well of those who vehemently carry out this behavior in the steemit Blockchain.
When my post is viewed and voted by others it means the post achieved the desired objectives of the steemit community.
Explore Coinmarketcap.com to indicate rank, STEEM price, and coinmarketcap of STEEM(screenshot required)?
After opening the market cap website, the reviews the current prices of Cryptocurrencies, showing their ranking BITCOIN being the top of the list.
After that I go to explore steem
From the above, the rank of STEEM is #181 and the price is $0.5728, having a market cap of $2,044,030,699,602.
For steemdollar as shown above, the rank is #461 and steem dollar price $7.85 with the same market cap as steem
What are the different tokens do you earn by socializing in Steem Blockchain?
They include:
STEEM
Steem which is a token that can be traded or may be transferred anywhere at anytime according to the wishes of the owner of the steem. Through steem a steemian can increase his or her influence by powering up by converting steem to steem power.
STEEM POWER
It influence tokens which give you more control over post payouts and allow you to earn on curation rewards.
STEEM DOLLARS
Steem dollars is also a reward that is tradeable, that may be transferred anywhere at anytime.
TRON
Tron is another reward obtained by content creaters. The number of Tron rewards (TRX) that a content created get is same as the SP (Steem Power) rewards that he/she get from their posts.
