Understanding Crypto Slangs

Hello Steemians how are you all doing? I hope you are all good, this will be my first time posting on #SteemCryptoAcademy, I hope you learn something from this post especially if you are new to the crypto space, today i want to share with you guys some commonly used crypto slang that you need to know and what they stand for, so i will be sharing 10 crypto slang and their meaning with you guys today.

This acronym means "fear of missing out" it is used to describe the feeling of anxiety that comes if you thinking that you might miss out on a good opportunity.

GN means good morning, so if you see someone from the crypto community online, take a moment to say GN.

This is just like saying good night in a crypto community, so when you want to sleep and you want to sya good night to your community just say GN.

This term is used when the price of a cryptocurrency spikes upward sharply, you might hear some persons say "to the moon" it simply means price continue to rise.

GMI/WAGMI stands for "gonna make it/ we are gonna make it" this is just as a motivation to tell you that no matter what happens we are gonna make it despite the current market.

This term is used to describe big investors who hold larger amount of a cryptocurrency, as thier trade can cause market to rise or fall.

This acronym stands for "hold for dear life" it was originated in 2013 when someone in bitcoin forum mistakenly type hodl instead of hold on.

This term is used for any coin that is not bitcoin, it can be used to describe thousands of coin that isn't bitcoin.

This stands for "Fear, Uncertainty, Doubts" FUD can cause crypto investors to sell thier holding in fear which may lead to price drop or loss.

This term is used when a group of investor artificially inflates the price of a token by buying in large quantities and dumps it at the market when price has risen while pocketing profits.
