Steem is a blockchain based social media platform that rewards users with steem dollars and voting power for posting and curating quality contents.

Steem is a cryptocurrency built on block chain technology. It is also an open and decentralized blockchain. The blockchain holds all the post, comments, upvotes and transaction done on steem.

DIFFERENT STEEM UNITS

STEEM

Steem is the cryptocurrency of steemit. It is a tradeable token. Steem is not stable because of the value is always fluctuating. It is advisable not to store steem for long rather it should be converted to steem dollars or steem power.

STEEM POWER

Steem power in steemit gives users more power to curate content and get steem rewards. 50% of steems content rewards are paid as steem power by default.

STEEM DOLLARS

Steem is also a cryptocurrency in the steem block chain. It is stable. The other 50% of steem contents rewards are paid in steem dollars to protect them against fluctuation.

Steem cryptocurrency is like every other cryptocurrencies e.g bitcoin, ethereum, Litcoin etc) in the market. Investors trade on steem in the open market and track the value through charts.
With the recent rise in the value of many cryptocurrencise, steem wasnt left out. The value of steem has risen drastically.

CONCLUSION

This home work tasks is really challenging me to do more research on cryptocurrency. Am really happy partaking in it.
