Homework task season 2 week 3 by professor @yohan2on cryptocurrency investment portfolio

Hi, thanks for the class @yohan2on thanks to @steemitblog for such an initiative.

Your Crypto portfolio should have 6 Cryptocurrencies and briefly explain why you have chosen to invest in each one of them.

I will be using $52 for this class, using KuCoin exchange to spot trade six crypto tokens of my choice all screenshots will also be taken from my Kucoin exchange for the class.

List of coins I will be buying

Tron (TRX)

First on my list will be #TRX I've been following this project closely one unique feature about tron is its transaction fee which has attracted lots of investors it can handle 2000 TPS.

Over the past few months, the coin has experienced a price increase, it has a total market supply of over 100 billion with over 71 billion coins in circulation.

It is ranked #19 with a market dominance of 42% its 24hr trading volume is over $2 billion which is also not bad.

Tron blockchain is an interoperable blockchain with good security it uses a proof of stake algorithm to secure the network also users holding the coin can be able to stake the coin in their wallet and earn additional income.

BitTorrent (BTT)

BTT has a current trading volume of over $1billion it is ranked #34 in the market.

BTT has a unique feature for sharing file among users the project looks promising as it offers fast transaction speed for users with a low commission fee for making transactions which have attracted users to use the coin for their daily day-to-day transactions.

It has good teams which keep users updated with current events happening on the platform.

I like the fact that BTT is listed on multiple exchange platforms which makes it very flexible for trading with multiple pairs.

Ripple XRP

XRP has a total max market supply of 100 billion tokens it is ranked #4 in the crypto market with a trading volume of over $9billion 24hr trading volume. it can be found in almost all top trading exchange platforms.

EOS

EOS is ranked #29 in the crypto market with a 24hr trading volume of over $1.9billion with a live market cap of over $5billion.

With EOS blocknet multiple blockchain platforms can integrate and run gaming and defi blockchain platforms.

XLM

ranked #16 with 24hr trading volume of over $1 billion in the market has a market dominance of 54%.

Quantity of bought #xlm = 20

CRO

This coin has a good project with a good team it is listed and ranked to #50 in the market.

Its exchange crypto.com is recognized as one of the top traded exchange platforms for trading cryptocurrencies.

Quantity of bought #cro = 33

Why I chose the above 6 coins

The above coins are having a high market daily trading volume of over $1 billion 24hr trading volume they are also ranked among the top #50 traded coins with a high market cap.

Since I will be using $52 I chose coins with a minimal price so I can buy at least 6 tokens for my investment.

I also check out the coins market supply and circulation with their team which is also good with promising future prices.

Looking at the above six tokens transaction fee for sending and receiving them is low which means it requires or costs little to transfer each of them to my hot storage wallet.

Use a Crypto wallet of your choice to hold your 6 cryptocurrencies Wait for a day or 2days, then showcase the final results of your investment portfolio.

Above is the screenshot of my 6 bought tokens I will be holding the 6 tokens in my kuCoin wallet for 2 days before giving the update If the price increase or decrease.

I bought the six token on 28/April will be giving out the update on 30/April

Use proper screenshots to showcase before and after. Is your total crypto portfolio in profits or losses? Which cryptocurrencies have increased in value and made you some profits? And which ones have declined in price value and made you some losses? Or have all of them made you profits? What’s the growth percentage of your Crypto trading portfolio after the 1 or 2days waiting period?

profit = $0.68

From the above six tokens bought, I got an increase in price in five token and make a loss in one token.

I will be summing up all my current prices to give a recap of all profits made.

$12.66 + $10.52 + $10.35 + $9.33 + $6.21 + $6.19 = $55.26

My initial investment amount was $52 and at the end of 2 days, my total investment became $55.26 which means I made an additional $3.26 from my investment.

Conclusion

Base on my carried out investment it's observed that making diversification by buying multiple different token can increase one's asset and also reduce the risk of losing more funds.

From the six token bought five made profit while one one made a loss.
