How does the delegation process work on the steem blockchain?

steem is a token that has a market value although this value fluctuates. And when this Steem is taken in the power of a steemit account, it is called Steem power or SP for short. Due to the value of steem token, when an account has a large amount of SP, the power of that account increases by which other user accounts can be curated with that account.

On the other hand, delegation is a process by which the power of SP in that account is transferred to another account without removing the steem token from the account. That is, transferring power directly in place of Steem token is called delegation.

Delegation makes an account stronger by the day, allowing it to give curated dollars to other user accounts. For example, to increase the power of Steemit Team's two biggest accounts "Steemcurator01" & "Steemcurator02" SP delegation has been done here so that these accounts can upvote various user posts.

"Steemcurator01" & "Steemcurator02" accounts have been strengthened by taking delegation from misterdelegation account.

Have I ever contributed SP to a community before? Did I assign SP on my own will or on other's request and why did I withdraw my SP?

When I learned about SP delegation, I delegated SPs in several communities. But I was never requested by anyone in my SP delegation rather I did it of my own free will. Earlier I had done SP delegation in 5 communities and my thought was to vote my post through SP delegation as I needed support then. But when I saw that my SP was delegated to some communities where I don't work, I revoked it and delegated it to where I do. Like I did 1000 SP delegation from the beginning of working in "Steem For Bangladesh" community when my SP was 1100. Currently I have 1500 SP delegation there without any request. Similarly I did SP delegation without any request in "Steemkids & Parents" community.

But another reason for withdrawing SP from other communities is that when I realized that SP curation can generate additional Steem income, I withdrew my valuable SP.

Have I delegated my SP with the expectation of collecting daily or monthly fees?

Regarding delegation I basically selflessly delegated SP to some of my favorite community curation accounts. No extra fees for delegation
I never hope to delegate my hard-earned precious SP to a bot account. And of course, before the SP delegation, I delegated the SPs with some thought and that thought was purely my own, not only in my interest. And I think that every user should delegate SPs from the right thinking before SP delegation, because SP can be gained by curation in other accounts if more SP is accumulated in one's account.

I selflessly delegated some SP of my account and with the remaining SP I curate user posts and earn some SP daily.

Am I for or against SP delegation in the community? If I agree, What criteria will my choice of society be based on?

I am in favor of delegation of SP to the community but in that case I will definitely give more priority to the community of my own country. All of us users work in different communities and many posts are made on steemit platform every day, most of the posts are not curated by curation account of Steemit Team. In that case, many quality posts are also left out of the curation because I think if we all can increase the delegation of our country or our community, then we can support user posts from that curation account which is beneficial for us. Considering the benefit of all regarding delegation, a particular curation account which is a bot free account can be delegated where many benefit by getting upvotes. But I am against delegation by spending all the power of my steemit account because I think it is useful to earn some SP by curating myself.

I'm always in favor of delegation in powering community curation accounts. Because we all benefit from it.

Am I for or against SP delegation without the benefit of exchange? If I agree, on what criteria will my user preferences be based?

I see my benefit in delegating my valuable SP partly because I delegate some of the total SP in my steemit account wallet and use the rest of the SP for curation work which earns me Curation SP. If that were the case I would have to do full SP delegation of my account then I would definitely move towards the exchange system in that regard. Because if I give my full SP delegation then I will not have curation earnings which will not be profitable for me.

But I delegated 1500 SP to "Steem For Bangladesh" community and 50 SP to "Steemkids & Parents" community without any exchange because they always tried to reward my hard work for which I happily delegated my SP. But in this case, I did not expect any special benefit from SP delegation.

Conclusion

Delegation is a very important process in the steemit platform by which both the user and the delegated account are greatly benefited. Users get separate benefits by delegating votes and curation accounts earn Curation SP by voting which is mutually beneficial.

Hello brother 👋
I was waiting for your valuable post and very glad to read it. You have nicely explained about delegation and made it easily understandable for us. I really appreciate it
Success to you 🤗

Thank you for your comment! Delegation is indeed a crucial process on the Steemit platform, benefiting both the user and the delegated account. Users gain benefits by delegating votes, while curation accounts earn Curation SP through voting, creating a mutually beneficial arrangement. Best wishes to you as well!

saludos amigo.

We appreciate you sharing your knowledge with us and for producing such a well-informed essay about delegation. Your magazine was a lot of fun, in my opinion.
I have also participated in this contest like you, if you want you can visit my contest post and share your thoughts.
