Hello friends is week 3 engagement contest already, and I am happy to follow others and participate. Is now I know that Steemit is truely a school. Small small I am learning the crypto language which I know with time I will become a pro.

Cryptography is the procedure of securing well connected data from prohibited access. In the blockchain, cryptographic ability are a part of security arrangement. It protects a transaction taking place connecting two nodes in a blockchain network.

• Distributed ledger
• Peer-to-peer network
• Cryptographic security.

The affluent and safe working of a administer ledger structure and the point-to-point network is impossible without a vigorous security technique in place.

• Cryptography
• Hashing.

The main difference linking these two is that cryptography is used to convert messages in a P2P (Point-to-Point) network. Meanwhile, hashing is used to protect block information and link blocks in a blockchain.

Why do you think it is important in the blockchain?

It is important because We can break down the word cryptography into two parts; which are

• Crypto meaning “hidden”
• Graphy meaning “writing”.

Meanwhile, cryptography is a order of converting plaintext into unintelligible coded text.
Two principal theory behind cryptography are Encryption and Decryption.

• Encryption is coding instruction in such a way that you and I ccannot comprehend what it means just by staring at it.
• Decryption is the opposite of encryption, i.e. decoding of the coded information

Do you think that the existence of the blockchain would be possible without this concept? Is there an alternative or similar term?

The tale of cryptography traces away to olden times. One of the unseasonable signs of making use of cryptographic methods was seen in olden Egypt to exchange noteworthy information. During that time, heads of the Roman empire used a known cryptographic technique; “Caesar cipher”.
