CoinMarketCap is one of the most popular and and trusted cryptocurrency platform which provides us with all the details of verified and listed cryptocurrencies.

Coming on to the history of CoinMarketCap, it was founded in May 2013 . Its headquarter is in United States. It is the most useful site which helps us in providing overview of cryptocurrency markets.
One can see the market cap, price , volume, supply and 24 hours price changes of a coin in CoinMarketCap.

Here one can also see his or her favourite coin's rank by market capitalization. Moreover individual assets are also traded on this platform so, in a nutshell CoinMarketCap provides all the information of crypto assets needed by a user before investing .

For this part we will be knowing more about we how CoinMarketCap is useful for a trader or a user
As in question number 1 we came to know that what is coinmarketcap here we will how this platform helps the trader in getting all the information related the asset for she wants to look for such as volume, price, market cap etc.

Coinmarketcap also provides us with the news of cryptocurrencies from newspapers so a trader without wasting much time can prefer coinmarketcap forgetting the Crypto news..
It also provides with the information of events and promotions and giveaways which are ongoing on other variety of platforms.

•Market Capitalization :market capitalisation can be defined as total value of all the coins that has been mined which can be calculated by multiplying the total number of mined coins with the price of single coin. Coinmarketcap also ranks the cryptocurrencies based on their market capitalisation.

•Price: coinmarketcap give the information of life price of a cryptocurrencies which are listed on this platform which are helpful for the users and traders.
Unlike other platforms coinmarketcap provides the averaged trading prices of different exchanges which is helpful for the users and traders as they get to know the current price of the coins.

• Trading Volume : Coinmarketcap provides us with the information of trading volume of an asset of 24 hours. In simple words we can say that trading volume is the value of coin bought and sold over the period of 24 hours which in turn helps the traders in knowing the rate of movement of the coin through which the traders predicts the further movement of the coin.

•Circulating supply: Circulating supply is the supply of coins available for trading at the current period when the traders trade.
Through circulating supply a trader can get to know the supply behaviour of the coin at that point of time.
But one should not confuse between total supply I and circulating supply.

For all the Crypto assets the an individual page are almost the same but the informations for coins defer as the news and overview of all the cryptoassets cannot be same so in case of ethereum we have to overview, market, historical data, wallets, news , social, rating , analysis and price estimates

Let's understand each of the above information

Overview : It contains informations which are helpful for the users by providing with the chart of Price, market cap, and TradingView like we can see of ethereum in the picture . A user has the freedom to choose the period of their choice so that he can get knowledge of the asset in details .

Market: It provides us with the information of market's overall view for the cryptocurrency asset which the user wants to see.

Historical data: it provides us about the information of price history over the past months years or from the required time the user want to see like of the ethereum shown in the picture.It shows us the highs , lows and opening price of the desired assets.

Wallets : wallets provides us with the information of
address and cryptocurrency wallets available for the required coin's storage.

News : this section is further divided into two parts which are Latest News and Alexandria in which the latest news section provides the information of of the news update of the cryptocurrencies and in Alexandria one can learn more about Crypto aur you can say much more details about cryptocurrencies in this section.

Social : in this section one can mostly see the links to reddit and also the latest question's news asked and the tweets are also included.

Rating: in this section one can see in the page itself is the help of Crypto assets and are divided under three subsections which are user activity, developer behaviour and market maturity.
These rating are calculated by third-party organisations.

Analysis: analysis section of the coinmarketcap helps the user in determining the places of assets and also provide the estimates to the traders by determining the position of assets whether it is bullish or bearish
Which helps in the future prediction of the asset.
And also the last on this page is price estimate.

Coinmarketcap consists 8 core features and some of the core features has sub core features also..

These are one of the most important core features of coinmarketcap which provides us the information of all the listed cryptocurrencies on this platform.
Moving on to its sub- core features which are recently added, ranking , global charts , legal tender companies, companies ranking , spotlight, losers and gainers and historical snapchats.

Sub-core features under core features:

Ranking: a sub-core feature under core features which shows ranking of all the listed cryptocurrencies business market capitalisation and the coinmarketcap..

Recently added: another sub-core feature under core features which which provides the information about the cryptocurrencies which has recently been added and gives knowledge about its price, volume etc.

Legal Tender Countries: each country has its own legal tender like legal tender in India is coins and notes by reserve Bank of India same way different countries uses different legal tenders the only country which has declared Crypto as its legal tender is El Salvador.

Global charts : it provides with the chart of all the countries across the globe which helps us in getting knowledge about charts countries around the world which to a certain extent help in profit making..

Gainers and losers:as the name itself suggests that we can find out the currencies or the projects performance of the past , everything can be easily transform this sub -core. Gain and losses of a project can also be checked on this sub-core.

Based on some criterias which I personally read on Coinmarketcap.com website I am providing it below

•We will have to submit a detailed information about the project.

•proper method or way for listing is followed by the requester or not is also looked upon by the during the decision taking time.

• the asset must be should have public website and must be traded have traded on listed exchange.

•Evaluation of the submitted data by coinmarketcap.
Some evaluations like projects community engagement, trading volume etc.

•amount of volume should be generated to meet the criteria of listings..

•Coinmarket.com follow the given below process to list an exchange

•Submission of online form with all the required information provided .

•. The requester should have a proper working website and active website where all the information should easily be available.

• The mail id and domain should be available and piecemeal submission should not be done.

• should not produce vogue statements moreover should organise all the points in a proper manner.

• No false statements should be provided or else one may get inadmissible.

The the purpose of Uniswap feature on coinmarketcap website is providing decentralized and free asset exchange.It also serves frontend interface for traders .It also facilitates swap feature for Erc20 Coins. Everyone is welcome to use this feature be it a registered or non registered user.

Using of swap feature

•Go to swap feature and click it then you will receive a pop up.

•Then one gets to see several ways to connect your wallet and you can connect It with the wallet of your choice.

• soon as it gets connected all your assets will easily be available And you can swap it for the any desired cryptocurrency of your choice.

What is Blockchain Explorer? What Information available under Blockchain Explorer? How many Blockchain Explorer available on Coinmarketcap.com & How it helps users?
Blockchain explorer is a search engine which allows you to search information on the blockchain.
One can see the hash rate, current network, transaction growth and other activities.

In a nutshell you can consider it to be a source of information for the traders as well as users.
it is helpful for taking future investment decisions as all the informations are provided by blockchain explorer which trader or a user needs.

There are total 4 types of blockchain explorer they are:
•Binance coin
•Bitcoin
•Ethereum
•Litecoin

To be very honest I generally don't use blockchain explorer.

Conclusion

First of all I would like to thank our professor @stream4u for giving us this wonderful task . Coming on to the conclusion I would like to say that I started investing in cryptocurrencies from June 2018 and from June 2018 only I started watching all the news and the price of all the coins on coinmarketcap I even invest on the coins which are ranked by coinmarketcap and are under top 10 coins.

From lecture I learnt many new things which I generally never used or have worked before on coinmarketcap website as I only saw the price and rankings and was a bit unaware of the the feature and features which I came to know after this homework.
So for me the homework was a knowledge provider and I came to know many new things about coinmarketcap website.
