centralised application

So centralised application is the one in which only a single server contain all information regarding all the steps that is to be taken with the information given by a user.
In this type of technology, the user gives his request. And that request is sent to that server and that server has all type of information that is to be done with this request.
That server receives the request, process it, and then send the result to that particular user.
So In this type of application, other computers are not necessary.

For example- we use facebook often. Whenever we liked any post, that information is sent to the server. The server has all the information that what is to be done with that request. That server receives that request, process it and increase the like of the post by 1. So this process is not affected or backed by any other computer.

so in this screenshot you can see. I tap on like button and that information sent to server and server knows what to do with it and it increased the like by 1

Many other games and application that we use based on this are Google, YouTube, and need for Speed

Decentralised application

It is commonly denoted by dapp. This type of application usually are based in block chain technology but there are many applications that are not based on block chain technology. Instead of this those are based on P2P network technology
For example:- bit torrent, bitmessage are popularly known application that are based on P2P network.
Dapp can't be controlled by a single entity or single server. There is no one dictator or owner that can control it. And also it is open source.

Google Chrome vs Brave browser

Google Chrome is developed by Google whose parent company is known as alphabet. It was released in 2008 and initially only for microsoft windows and later with many updates it is not available for mostly all OS.

It is also a main component of a new OS developed by Google named Chrome OS
It is also a default browser in many OS and pre-installed in android and iOS devices.

It is a free and most importantly an open source web browser. It blocks ads and many tracker on most of the website. And it keep your personal information safe.

pros of chrome browser

•. Sync with desktop browser

One of the most important feature of the chrome browser is that it sync with your desktop browser so you don't have to save the same bookm twice on your desktop and mobile phone.

••. User friendly interface

The user interface of chorme browser is user friendly. A person can easily use chrome browser with knowing much about it.

•••. Use website offline

Chrome let's you use many websites offline and when you come online that data is saved or sent to that very website. So it is one of the biggest pro of chrome

cons of Google Chrome browser

•. Privacy problem

As Google Chrome is a centralised application so Google can easily track your movement. It can also watch your search and easily track your location.

••. Many permission to be granted

Chrome asks for many permission. It asks for your location, camera, contact and in many cases it also asks for your microphone permission.

pros of brave browser

•. Privacy protection

As brave is a open source and P2P based application so it is safe to surf here and here there is no problem of privacy.

••. Ad blocker and tracker blocker

Brave browser let's you block many ads and tracker in many websites.

•••. Tor websites

With brave browser you can open tor websites so tor browser is already in your phone.

••••. Reward

In brave browser you are paid for watching ads unlike Google Chrome where every penny is sent to google.

•••••. Faster than fast

So you can use many extension here. And this browser is very fast and faster than Google Chrome

cons of brave browser

•. Based on Google

The biggest problem of this browser is that it is based on Google Chrome. Though is it better but still it is based on Google Chrome

••. security loop holes

As it is based on Google Chrome it has many security loop holes. Though many of them is fixed now. But still there are many.

•••. Default browser

Brave browser uses Google as it's default browser. So this is a problem here

Conclusion

So on these basis I can say that though brave browser is better than Google Chrome in many ways but still there is no competition for Google Chrome on android as it is pre-installed and also people believe Google as it a tech giant company.

But if you are a privacy lover than you should use brave browser instead of Google Chrome
