Hello Steemians, the final week of Steemit Crypto Academy Season 3 has ended. The final week ran from 00:00 UTC on August 15th to 11:59 pm UTC on August 21st. I wish to thank everyone who participated in this lesson for their engagement and efforts in making this week's lesson a success.

This week, emphasis was laid on Crypto Tokens. This lesson was inspired by the confusion of crypto enthusiasts between a token and a coin. These two words are used interchangeably by crypto users and I believe newbies in cryptocurrency still fall for this mistake.

In the lesson, we were able to explain and differentiate between a Token and a Coin.
Token in simple terms are digital assets developed on already existing blockchains. This simply means that they do not have their own blockchain. Whereas coins are the native cryptocurrencies of blockchain networks.

At the end of the lesson, the participants were further engaged with 4 homework tasks which exposed them to make further research on the topic.

At the end of the week, we had 154 entries. The task distribution is shown below;

  • Total Entries of 154.
  • 152 Valid Entries.
  • 2 Invalid Entries.
  • 0 Plagiarised content.

From the chart above, we had an outstanding performance in the homework task. 29% of the participants scored above 9 while 60% scored between 6 to 8.9 thus making it 89% of the participants scoring above grade 6. This result is the best so far and I want to encourage the participants to keep improving in making research and producing quality content.

The scattered plots of the grades are shown below with an average score of 7.68.

The following students were exceptional and produced quality content. It was difficult to make this decision as there were huge numbers of quality content for this spot. But I believe these students were outstanding in their homework task.

Observations/Recommendation from Homework Task

This week is probably the best so far for season 3. The performance of the students was encouraging and we can see that in the average score compared to the previous lessons.

Also, There was a lot of improvement in writing skills and presentations by the participants. It's been noted that this is one of the marking schemes utilized in grading homework. I was impressed at the improvement in this final week of season 3.

Furthermore, I appreciate the efforts of the participants in meeting the expectation of the homework by not limiting their knowledge to the homework lesson.

Conclusion

I want to encourage all the participants to keep improving in both academics and learning. It has been a pleasure to be part of the Crypto Academy team season 3 and I will keep improving in meeting my expectations as a professor.

Best regards,
@reminiscence01

Good day Professor @reminiscence01

Please my homework task was not marked from last week. I assumed maybe it was an issue with the tags, because I also couldn't find it when I searched by tag so I tried editing the tag, but it still didn't show.

Here's the link to my homework task: https://steemit.com/hive-108451/@khamara/crypto-academy-season-3-week-8-homework-post-for-professor-reminiscence01-topic-understanding-tokens-by-khamara
