Eligibility- Season4
Bid bot/Vote-buying services
- If you have gained a reputation using bid bot/vote-buying services, then you are not eligible to partake in any Tasks(Fixed+Dynamic) in Steemit Crypto Academy.
- If you have delegated to a bot/vote-buying services for investment purposes, getting delegator reward only(no votes), then you should discontinue it.
How do I check my SP and reputation?
- Go to Steemworld.org/@username. Replace the username with a valid username, for example, sapwood.
- Check the Effective power(under the tab "Stat"), Effective Power= (Own SP+Delegated in- Delegated out)
Your own SP will define your eligibility criteria.
The reputation you can find just below three rows.
Thank you.
Nice improvement @sapwood. But I believe the Rep shouldn't have been upgraded to that extent. Rep 65 is quite hard to achieve, very hard. Diligent authors might be unable to participate, but yet they don't power down and have been powering up. I don't know if you get my point. The increment should be 2 or 3, but 5 is too much. The main to note, are authors powering down?
I feel Rep shouldn't be changed from Season to Season, but SP requirements should be changed and even by large difference from previous season, then we will notice progressive change. Lots and lots of Advanced authors that participated last season and that are diligent won't be able to participate this season, because it would be quite impossible to achieve Rep 65 even by doing every Fixed course and Intermediate courses.
Note: I'm not even affected but I feel for others that are. I'm only trying to express myself and not arguing with the excellent team behind this community. I hope you consider this @sapwood.

(1) First, it should not be viewed as whether the users are powering it down or not. Keeping it 65 is an iteration from Season 1 to Season 4. And to give a chance to those users who have been consistently participating and virtually have created an Academic community.
(2) Second, once upon a time users were asking what is the use of 50, 55, 60 or even 70 reputation, we just want to make the reputation as valuable as SP. People should recognize how important is reputation and most importantly whether the reputation has been gained through organic curation or not. In short, we are giving a new lease of life and true justice to PoB, HF21 was ideally implemented to boost organic curation. Steemit Crypto Academy is making that a reality.
(3) Third, @steemcurator01 and @steemcurator02 votes are generous, but not unlimited. We have limited resources and we have to manage the entire umbrella of Steemit lead initiatives along with community support programs within the available resources. Creating 10 Tasks in Fixed Beginner Tier will help users to not just become minnows in the earliest possible time but also to make them familiar with the day to day crypto use-cases(particularly those which are necessities), those who participate in Beginner[Fixed] need not have to depend on the CR or any helping hand from their country for the basic use-case of transacting STEEM or TRX with Exchanges(to/fro).
From here on there won't be any huge jump in terms of rep, because we have carefully engineered this framework, taking into account community size.
If you participate in all Tasks of a Season and put all the best possible effort, then you can easily cross the barrier of 60 rep. I think that is quite reasonable. We have many advanced tier users in last season, true, but they did not create a trail of consistency despite being good in their approach. There could be personal reasons or busy-ness. But for this reason, we want to bring new faces so that contour of the competition will have a new shape and that will also further the talent hunt. We don't want to make the contour of competition predictable, if there is no inflow of New users, then the curve of competition is going to harden, which is not a healthy state of affairs for the Academy.
No Sir, we are really happy that you asked and we got an opportunity to make you familiar with our policies, set of rules, principles, and operating model of Crypto Academy. We are glad that you asked this. Thank you for that.
Steem on.

Yes, in the first tier it needs [50 rep+150 SP+Achievement Task-4]. So if you fulfill all three, you can participate.
Thank you.

Greetings Professor @sapwood,
The increment in the reputation requirement for advanced courses from reputation 60 to 65 is just too much. Gaining reputation between one season and the next isn't that fast. And as we know it's easier to grow reputation from 45-50 or from 50-55, than from 60-65 or from 65-70 or from 70-75. It gets harder as one advances his/her reputation.
Kindly consider increasing the reputation for advanced level by 2, that is from 60 to 62. Perhaps subsequent season by 2 again, i.e from 62-64, and so on. Last season, I actively participated, and I was able to raise my reputation from 60-62. Considering how difficult it is to advance reputation from 60 upwards. Kindly consider my suggestion, it was a pleasure participating last season in the advanced level.
Raising the reputation by a huge 5 in the advanced level seems just too much. And I was here last season, actively participating. I want to grow with this community, and I'm sure other authors that are in similar situation like myself want to grow with this awesome community as well. Please give us an opportunity to grow realistically alongside this amazing community, season by season in both sp and reputation.
My Progress last season - I raised my sp from 125 to 665. I raised my reputation from 60-62. As you can see, raising reputation is really difficult, hence increasing reputation requirement by 5 seems just too much. I believe that to make real progress in the entire community, our focus should be more on sp, and that will bring in more investors, and increase the overall growth of this community. Thanks!

Keep participating in all the Tasks of Beginner and Intermediate tier, you will soon reach 65, then you will become eligible for Advanced tier, should you own 600 SP alongside.
Thank you.

You need to complete up to Achievement Task-4 in Newcomer's community. You should have at least 50 rep and 150 SP to be able to participate in the Beginner[Fixed] 10 courses.

Hi @sapwood, as far as I can see I made a mistake, as I have recently delegated SP to justyy and I receive a daily vote for it, as he is a witness I thought it was not something improper; however, when I did it my reputation was already 69, as I have more than 3 years posting on Steemit, I would like to know if by suspending the delegation I am eligible to participate. Thank you in advance for your attention.
