This is crazy, as if you @sapwood don't want people to participate because you should know that it is not all my reputation that comes from bot buying upvote and there is no way you can tell how many of my reputation came from bot buying upvote so this is really unfair.
I mean every one has bought an upvote before and including you so that means you are not allowed to participate in the crypto academy.

How do you want someone to get reputations because if bot buying upvote is bad what of those big steemit account like @success who clearly delegate SP to bots like @upvu and get's upvote from them, my SP is not delegated no more but all of a sudden reputation is now the problem.

Why do you think that bot is the only way to gain reputation, why this shortcut. In steemit lead initiatives, there are a lot of contests/initiatives and the partakers grow their reputation organically, we have more than 1000 users who never used the bot.
Any reputation that is grown in a synthetic way is a problem to us. We have clearly stated this from the very beginning of Season 4.
What others are doing, we are not obliged to answer on that.
But as far as SCA is concerned if we find that bot/vote-buying services are being used to gain reputation, then we simply won't recognize it.

The reason i bought votes in project hope community and stock photo community is because it helps your post get noticed once it is used then follwed buy people commenting on the post so it creates engagement in mt post and i like to hear what others have to say.

Most of the posts using bot are poor in engagement, most of them have zero engagement, we dont want to make this place governed by Power of Bot, We are committed to reinstate the Proof-of-Brain in this ecosystem and that is in line with HF21.
You should go and read the HF21 judgment first. If someone is still running bot and they they are against the culture and objective of Steem Blockchain, because HF21 is a consensus in the community to give a new lease of life to Proof-of-Brain and Trending Page, and discourage the use of Bot.
