Background

The Homework Task Week-1(Season 2) draws to a close on 18th April 2021. During the last seven days, we witnessed as many as 43 entries.

I would like to congratulate all who participated and submitted their assignments during this week.

This week we covered-- How to trade Binance/Huobi P2P USDT Market. I hope you all now have better insight into crypto-fiat trading. Being able to buy crypto using fiat and sell crypto for fiat is a kind of assurance for Naive users in particular. Ideally P2P offers more choices to the users, a true global marketplace, in line with the spirit of a distributed network of traders.

Those who participated this week in Homework Task-1 are well-informed now with practical experience of a P2P trade. Many of you might have explored the market making opportunities in the P2P market.

Steemit Crypto Academy is helping you all to bridge the gap between concept and gaining experience, particularly for naive users; thereby inducing practical intelligence. The tasks are designed & structured in a way to make you familiar with practical exploration of a use-case, e.g. P2P USDT Market. By partaking in such a s Task, you always have first-hand information & real experience of a P2P market.

I hope Week 1 was productive, persuasive, informative, and educative for you all & relevant to your day to day endeavor in P2P USDT Market.

I would like to convey my gratitude to the Steemit Team for coming up with such an idea and organizing a team for that cause, fostering crypto literacy.

In the last five days, I have visited all the posts that have been submitted with the correct tag( #sapwood-s2week1, #cryptoacademy). So I would request all the participants to make sure that they use the correct tags and that should be among the first five tags. And also make sure you post in the Steemit Crypto Academy community.

Observation & Thoughts

We found 43 entries in the last week(Week-1). I have visited them all. 95% of them were original content whereas 5% were spun/plagiarized.

Unfortunately, some users are still publishing spun/plagiarized content. I would request all of them to follow the path of hard work and be a part of the process, the reward will mature at some point.

We also found a few submissions beyond the deadline, please note that we take Steem Blockchain time as a reference, that is also the appropriate because each of your submission is time-stamped in Steem Blockchain. So it is fair & transparent.

This week it was purely a practical exploration of P2P USDT Market(Binance/Huobi) to let the user gain real experience of trade, and they earn while do that and present it in their assignment. Whosoever has done a real trade(even a mico trade) & demonstrated all the steps with relevant screenshots has scored better this week.

However, the overall average quality needs to improve. Organized writing and a curated directory of organized articles in the Trending page will also add fundamental value to Steem Blockchain & Steemit Crypto Academy. It's a continuous process and we must evolve as organized authors through such Tasks/assignments.

I would request all, before hitting the submit button, please read it at least once/twice. Proof-reading is necessary. You can also use Grammary app for proof-reading.

The Homework Task Week 1 was purely a practical exploration of P2P USDT Market, so it was central to real p2p trading. Some users have really done proper homework in line with the task requirement, while a few have tried to explain it without a real trade. The point to note here is that without a real trade, you can never experience the practical side of a use-case. Most of the time, your practical experiences unifies your theoretical understanding.

The level of engagement is very poor. We want our participants to visit other's posts and produce insightful comments, make it an interactive session. At present only the professor is interacting with the participants. The student-to-student interaction is missing. We can't build an interconnected web and better content discovery without engagement. I request all of you to visit other's posts.in Steemit Crypto Academy.

Always try to be precise & make your approach straight to the point, make it less noisy.

Further, always pay attention to the grammar/spelling, proper formatting, use of markdown styling to represent it in a professional way, which always attracts the attention of the reader/curator. If you do that on a day-to-day basis you also evolve as a professional blogger in the long run.

Statistics & Evaluation

Here is the stat of the 43 entries in Homework Task Week-7

My First Board (25).jpg

Total Entries- Posts published in "Steemit Crypto Academy community" with tag #sapwood-s2week1

Plagiarism/Spun Content- Stealing other's text/screenshot and representing as if it is their own content. Using spinning tools & paraphrasing the texts of another post.

Valid Entries- Valid Entries= Total Entries- Plagiarized/spun content

004.png

I have evaluated all the entries on the basis of the following parameters:-

  • Proper representation of a task
  • Whether covered all the sub-parts of an assignment or not
  • Real P2P Trade
  • Proper formating
  • True representation of the text/subject(with illustration/screenshot)
  • Grammar/Spelling
  • Free of Spam/Plagiarism.
  • Adhering to the laid rules or not
  • Proof-Reading
  • Original content

Of the 43 entries, I found the following three as the best entries this week.

S NoAuthorPost LinkRemarks
1@njaywanLinkThe author has clearly demonstrated how to sell USDT as Market Taker with a real trade. An outstanding piece with organized writing & presentation
2@starlord28LinkThe author has demonstrated how to set up an exhcnage niche, published an Ad by adding liquidity to the P2P Market
3@cherub27LinkThe author has demonstrated how to sell USDT in Binance P2P Market as Market Taker, how to use filter in selecting a suitable offer, and the complete process, including chat conversation with the counterparts, etc

NB- Selection of a winner may not be absolute, most of the time, it is based on the relative performance. As long as you focus on all the sub-parts of Homework Task and gain sufficient user-experience, you stand better to win it every week.

Conclusion

We all are committed to creating an enriched communication environment, organizational interactions, etc which is a precursor to building a foundation of crypto literacy. The right information and education should percolate down the line and the PoB will come along to reward you(extrinsic motivation).

We will try our best to structure a task to draw real-life experiences for you, to motivate you for sustained attention to the task/academy. The participants should also reciprocate in line with the Task requirement, particularly if it demands a real trade/real experience. Healthy participation and effective discussion are key to the overall success of the crypto academy.

We will also try our best to reinforce the principle of collectivism/democracy (but always on the basis of performance) through the crypto academy.

The crypto academy is also an avenue to learn to reason and to find & explore the passions and talents of the users in this ecosystem.

Gain as much user experience as you can. But always be your own. Don't hesitate to write what you have understood(even if you are wrong), We will take care of corrections if needed. The most important thing at the end of the day is what you learned.

The take-home message-- Develop a relationship with dApp/Exchange(or as the Task demands), Learn, Experience, Submit your assignment. This is the ideal path to economic advantage(upvote) & crypto literacy.

Thank you.
