I am incredibly glad that I paid attention to SteemitCryptoAcademy and saw this interesting competition!
At first, when I read about “abstract account”, I didn’t think it had anything to do with blockchain, much less Ethereum!
I have been following and supporting the next generation blockchain for several years now - PraSaga...
But let's first talk about the "abstract account"
I’ll be honest right away, before this competition, I missed this point, but as they say, that’s what steemit is for, to learn and find solutions...

If you try to explain it briefly and in accessible language, then an abstract account is a smart account!
What is it and what is it eaten with?
Here we need to look from different points of view...

If we take ordinary users, inexperienced or newbies, then for them it looks something like this...
Users can quickly restore their account, just like restoring their visa or master card... In other words, it's secure access to your account!
They also promise to remove this complex list of 12 words to save keys!
Agree that this is a very inconvenient function, where if you lose words, you are not the owner of the account.
Also, the abstract account promises ease of use of the service, where you manage devices and not encryption keys.

There are also more experienced blockchain users.
For them, the functionality and flexibility of the account are important.
If we look deeply into this, we expect improved access control, access levels, fine-grained management with numerous keys....
Change of implementation of functionality extension, abstraction of gas where users can charge using credit funds
Paying for gas is not only eth...
Payment using NFT...
And this is all thanks to an abstracted account...

What other possibilities?
DApps
Yes, now it will be more secure to use and manage your account!
Why?
It will be possible to make several transactions in one operation...
And this is important, because the next level blockchain needs scalability, security and decentralization!
A couple more positive points:
These are temporary keys and process automation.
Well, temporary keys are for games and applications, where there will be limited rights for simple interaction with the mentioned games, applications and stuff like that...
But automation is convenient because you can set the appropriate parameters for recurring transactions or payments... there is no need to manually sign each transaction...
This again is a leap towards scaling!

By the way, I noticed an interesting observation from Ethereum users...
They claim that an abstract account is not some kind of abstractness we are used to or some kind of cosmos...
This is a smart account! And I absolutely agree here!
An account that allows you to reduce inconvenience to a minimum can safely be called smart or an account of the next level!

Could integrating account abstraction benefit the Steem blockchain?

When a user can easily recover his key or use several transactions in one operation, then integrating an abstract account into steem makes sense!
But the average user will definitely need to learn this somewhere!
I hope SteemitCryptoAcademy will give an impetus to teaching this issue closely!

Disadvantages of an abstract account?

Scalability, security and decentralization!
Only when this trillema is resolved, then #web3 will be ready!

And here I simply cannot help but report that the blockchain problem has been solved and is currently being solved by the PraSaga blockchain!
