Season 4 of the Steemit Crypto Academy is now underway.
Alongside the expansion of the fixed Introductory courses, the other change in the courses for the new season is the streamlining to two weekly courses for each of the three levels.
The Reputation and Steem Power requirements have also been increased to encourage students of the Academy to continue their growth and development on Steem.
All the courses are open to anyone meeting the minimum requirements for the relevant level.
The ten Introductory courses are available for anyone who has completed at least Level 4 of the Achievement Tasks in the Newcomers Community with the required Reputation and Steem Power.
Beginners Level Courses
The Beginners Level Courses this week are…

Homework Guidelines
We are keen to ensure that all contributions to the Steemit Crypto Academy are of as high a standard as possible.
While the Crypto Professors may set specific requirements for some of their homework tasks we would suggest all students follow these basic guidelines…
- Title the post with the format - Crypto Academy / Season 4 / Week 1 - Homework Post for [name of Crypto Professor] …
- Homework posts should be at least 300 words
- All work should be your own - plagiarism will not be tolerated
- Any graphs, screenshots, quotes etc used from other sources should be fully referenced
- Any images used should be from copyright-free sources and fully referenced
- Homework posts should include the tag #cryptoacademy and the tag specifically required for each homework task in the first five tags. Posts should also include a tag for your country.
- Tag the relevant Crypto Professor to help them find your homework post.
Please make sure you send your homework posts into the Crypto-Academy community…
Homework posts should be submitted no later than 11.59pm UTC, on Saturday, September 11th, 2021.
Please check each Professor’s post carefully for any special instructions they have given for their homework task. Once you have completed your homework post make sure you leave a link on the Professor’s post to ensure they see it.
Following all these guidelines carefully will help you gain higher vote rewards for your homework posts.
The Crypto Professors will be on the lookout for plagiarism, content farming and other forms of abuse.
Anyone found doing any of these will risk being banned from the Crypto Academy.

Hello Sir, in my spot I was selected three times on three tops last week but even in those cases that I stood out, I wasn't rewarded at all and those communities where I've gained my spot, have support from you and booming. Seriously, @steemitblog @sapwood, I think the reputation should not be increased at this rate, it's really hindering the free flow of students, now some students who were eligible for the advanced levels are automatically thrown to the intermediate session because of reputation. I think this should really be put into consideration so the academy will be interesting for students who are interested in trading and advancing their Cryptocurency knowledge.

(1)Keeping it 65 is an iteration from Season 1 to Season 4. And to give a chance to those users who have been consistently participating and virtually have created an Academic community.
(2) Second, once upon a time users were asking what is the use of 50, 55, 60 or even 70 reputation, we just want to make the reputation as valuable as SP. People should recognize how important is reputation and most importantly whether the reputation has been gained through organic curation or not. In short, we are giving a new lease of life and true justice to PoB, HF21 was ideally implemented to boost organic curation. Steemit Crypto Academy is making that a reality.
(3) Third, @steemcurator01 and @steemcurator02 votes are generous, but not unlimited. We have limited resources and we have to manage the entire umbrella of Steemit lead initiatives along with community support programs within the available resources. Creating 10 Tasks in Fixed Beginner Tier will help users to not just become minnows in the earliest possible time but also to make them familiar with the day to day crypto use-cases(particularly those which are necessities), those who participate in Beginner[Fixed] need not have to depend on the CR or any helping hand from their country for the basic use-case of transacting STEEM or TRX with Exchanges(to/fro).
Finally, from here on there won't be any huge jump in terms of rep, because we have carefully engineered this framework, taking into account community size.

Hi professor @sapwood, I have read all you outlined above but I must confess that I still support @utibeoeffiongart. This increment in reputation at this time is a kind of frustrating for people like me. People are joining steemit everyday here in Nigeria and academy courses is one of the reasons we use in getting them motivated. Preaching to them that once they are able to do upto achievement 4 with a few more quality post,they must have built what it takes to join the academy and start building their sp faster.
Now the reverse is the case because I have noticed a lot of verified beginners achievement post which paid out without being curated.Even if we continue to tell our newbies to invest in the platform,there won't be a favourable window for them to acquire 55 rep let alone 65rep within an endurable period of time.
Lastly I only see this increment as a leverage for those who were consistent from season 1 to 3.
The academy community I believe is here to help people mostly crypto enthusiastic youths to acquire knowledge and not to make steemit growth journey tough for them.
Please @steemitblog and @sapwood kindly reconsider this increment because I have seen a lot of people complain in our home WhatsApp groups,with an express fear to bring on their disappointment as a comment here.Please reconsider the reputation increment once more.

I can understand your point.
But there are certain things we must take into perspective.
Our psychology is primed to earn as much as we can through the Academy in the first place, that's why we are a little bit carried. If there is no reward, or let's say bear cycle, many of the users don't even find it worth their time to participate.
Beyond these two dimensions, our guiding policy in Crypto Academy is more about the process and delayed gratification. I am not denying your passion for Crypto Academy, but I think you will enjoy it more & more as you inch closer to a rep of 60 or 65 every day and with every Task during this process/Season 4, as that will unlock the Advanced tier. Think about it as a game Sir, that you play, and after clearing one level you unlock the next level.
If you follow that contour of process & delayed gratification, one day you will become eligible without even thinking or trying hard for it. We just want our users to shape up in that passion in the Academy.
For Beginner and Newcomers, the favorable window is much wider now, as we have introduced 10 Beginner[Fixed] tasks which require a reputation of 50 (not 55), please be informed that by the time one completes the Achievement Task-4 Newcomer's community he can certainly earn a few SBD and reputation, rest of reputation can also be earned through diary games and support from the Community-led initiatives at the local level/region.
Keeping certain eligibility criteria for different tiers does not make the journey tough. It just invites the user to become a part of the process. Not to mention the process does not demand investment from the pocket, rather it creates opportunity, earning while learning.
The entire structure has been engineered keeping in mind the process & the delayed gratification. We can not make it a get rich quick adventure program under the guise of learning, we want this curve to be gradual, for the consistent users, it is much more smooth & fulfilling.

Since it’s not that easy to climb from 60-65 I will suggest you reduce the reputation for advance to 62 and intermediate to 59 because the more the reputation the harder it’s gets to gets there increasing the advance reputation by 5 is way too much sir.

I'm one of those students looking forward to Crypto Academy Season 4, and I'm really excited that season 4 has started. however, I was very sad when I saw that the advanced level should be at 65 reputation. I have tried to be active, but my reputation is still 63 . Honestly, at first I didn't understand the existence of Crypto Academy in the previous season, because I just started joining April 2021, and many of me didn't know this. but about 1 month ago, I just found out and learned what Crypto Academy, and Cryptocurrency is, and without delay I became a student who initially I tried at the intermediate level because of reputation, and then I was very happy to be at the advanced level. however, I currently need to be at a level where this course lives up to the reputation of 63 and I've been trying to post actively in as few communities as I can to improve reputation. I am happy and at the same time I also have to postpone my advanced courses.
