I started the first week of the 5th season of Steemit Crypto Academy very quickly. Since this is the fourth homework I've done this week, it has to be at the end of time. I hope we don't have too many problems with time. Thanks @wahyunahrul for this valuable explanation about Metaverse and Blockchain. You can see my homework below.

1). Do you think the Metaverse is "the next level of Future Technology"? Explain your personal opinion by showing some evidence.

Due to the innovations brought by technology, our lives are changing day by day. Things that people didn't think about before, or that they thought and dreamed of, are now real. Since the progress of technology is not linear but parabolic*, even new inventions become obsolete very quickly. When I think of my own age, in my childhood, horizontal case computers, tube televisions and 56k dial-up modems were used. From that era until now, there has been a lot of change like social media to decentralized structures, from high-speed fiber internet where smart phones are in the hands of everyone, even children.

A lot of things have changed, especially after the invention of the internet recently. Now we connect everything to a network under the name of the Internet of Things. We don't like things that can't be connected to the network. The internet world is like a completely different universe for people. An endless sea. And it has become an ordinary part of our daily life in this ocean.

Recently, a new concept has been added to our language. its name is Metaverse. To get to the root of the word, "meta" in Greek means "beyond, after". It was formed by combining verse from the "universe" word that came after it. There is a meaning like Metaverse, beyond the universe. It seems that the metaverse will open new horizons for people in the near future.

What is this Metaverse?

In fact, it would be wrong to think of the metaverse as a technology in its own right. Saying "a new world created with existing technologies" would be the most accurate definition.

We've been seeing similar content in books, movies, and TV series lately, but we can say that it came to the fore with Facebook. If we were to make a more detailed description, we can say that Digital is a brand new and different universe created by combining many platforms and tools. These platforms include virtual reality, augmented reality, social media, NFTs, cryptocurrencies and the like. For myself, I had experiences such as games or videos by disconnecting from the real world with the Virtual reality (VR) glasses at home. Augmented reality provides interaction by providing the bridge between the digital world and the real world. But Metaverse seems like it will completely change our perception of reality by leaving all these concepts behind and using these tools together.

Do you think the Metaverse is "the next level of Future Technology"?

In a very short answer yes, the metaverse is the technology of the future. I think it will radically change the concept of the internet. In fact, I think this is much more important for big companies, if they can't keep up with this change, many of them will disappear. Because new products and service needs will arise in many branches such as payment transactions, identity verification, recruitment, remote working methods, advertising, content creation, cyber security services. This will take place in a very different universe from today's, perhaps even in parallel metaverse universes. If we talk about companies that contribute to the development of metaverse and want to continue to lead in this new technology step in the real world, Microsoft, Facebook, Amazon, Apple would be at the top of the list. These companies are currently working on establishing infrastructure and innovation. Hardware and software are produced for this. Each of them continues to invest heavily in this sector.

2). Explain why Metaverse and Blockchain are compatible technology pairs.

The most basic feature of both Metaverse and Blockchain is its decentralization. When we think of metaverses as different universes, the link that will be formed somehow will be in the form of blockchains. Because the blockchain system is one of the most reliable verification methods in the world. It will appear in a decentralized structure in order to have the same reliability in the metadata, and it is the most basic harmony of these two concepts with each other. The number of applications running in this decentralized structure is increasing day by day. In these applications, which are called DApps, the control is completely within themselves for those who share content. In other words, while Metaveerse proposes a decentralized virtual world, it has to be connected to the blockchain structure for its construction.

Since each physical person will have a different identity in the metaverse universe, originality and uniqueness also come into play here. NFTs, which we call Non-Fungible Tokens, offer a digital uniqueness in this regard. In some virtual worlds, mostly game content, users are spending on today's blockchains to purchase NFTs, which are digital properties.

Another topic that Metaverse and Blockchain are compatible with is tiara. Money has become the most important thing since it was invented. In the blockchain structure, we know that since we are already involved in these works, each person's wallet information goes through a continuous verification process. Blockchain seems to be an important part of the Metaverse, both in terms of use and transmission.Cryptocurrencies are an indispensable part of this new universe.There are already many projects and cryptocurrencies that have emerged with this scope.

Splinterlands is a digital, collectible card game, built on hive blockchain. It offers a skill-based combat experience with NFT cards with different skills and features, a collection is created, and the team that the user chooses with his own strategy. Each card has a separate ID. Players can sell, buy, or trade these cards as if they were physical cards. It is a platform that is not just for spending money like traditional games, but instead of pay to win logic, it is a winning platform with play to win logic.

I said that the game is based on the Hive blockchain. Therefore, if we have a HIVE account, it will be very easy for us to log in. We can log in directly by typing our user name and active key. If we are not going to login via hive, there are different login options. We can also register by e-mail, or we can log in with our other wallet accounts you see in the picture on the right. Even though I'm not very active, I'm playing the game and logging in with hive is good, now I'm getting Air-drop profits.

After logging in, the menu and interface are very simple. There is also a tutorial with necessary information, where we can learn how to play. To put it briefly, there are 2 types of cards, the first is Summoners and the second is Monsters. You can see the details in the pictures. There are 6 different types of magic that these cards have. A Summoner uses magic, use this power to monsters. Monsters do the actual fighting. I said that the game is played with cards. Now let's get to know the features of the cards. It looks more clear in the pictures. There are two different game options: Ranked battle with opponents, or practice battle that does not affect the rank level. It is also possible to earn DEC in PvP Battles from the game. DEC is a token traded on some exchanges. It can also be taken from the hive engine or the steem engine and transferred to the game. If we are logged in with our hive account, our hive wallet will appear in the system automatically attached. But it's very easy to add different crypto wallets. To do this, we first click on our username in the upper right of our screen. We choose Link External Wallet from the opened tabs.

LINK WALLET options appear in the window that appears on the screen. Here we click on the wallets we want from the left. After typing our wallet address, we save it by saying save. It's that easy.

When we press the DEC or SPS buttons that appear in the bar above on the game page, we are directed to the following pages. After choosing which wallet to process from, we write the amount and make a transfer in or out. The application is done in the same way for DEC or SPS. Transactions made on hive or steem are done with the engine.

• If we talk about various features of Splinterland. Firstly. I can explain the airdrop feature. Daily SPS can be earned by calculating a certain score according to the wallet and nft cards I have in Metaverse. We can transfer the air drop sps we earn to our wallet on a daily basis.

• Another feature is that we can stake our SPS on the page we are directed to with the stake button while in our sps wallet. According to the logic on Steem, it can be 100% unstaked at the end of 4 weeks, at 25% each week.
