Hello my fellow cryptoacademy students, hope we are all doing well in our homework this week. It's been a busy week for me.

Today I participated in the lecture by Professor @yousafharoonkhan our Pakistan Professor. In his lecture he thought us a whole lots of things about decentralized and centralized exchange, including uniswap and how to swap, as well as metamask. It was so wonderful learning from you sir.

Write the definition of Decentralized and Centralized Exchange in your own words.(definition should cover exchanges ,not system) only explain in your own words, after understand the exchanges

Decentralized Exchange:

This is an exchange that does not require intermediaries in it's operation. In this kind of exchange, customers on the exchange has freedom in carrying out their exchange business without any interference of any middleman. Examples of decentralized exchange includes; Uniswap, PancakeSwap, JustSwap, Tolenlon, SushiSwap, Compound, 1inch Exchange etc.

Centralized Exchange:

This is a kind of exchange that is been regulated by an intermediary. Centralized Exchange operates in opposite direction of the operations of decentralized exchange. The exchange itself is the intermediary between buyers and sellers; and both buyers and sellers must abide by the exchange rules and regulations in other to transact on the exchange. Here one cannot successfully perform a trade without been granted the permission to do so by the exchange. Some examples of Centralized Exchange includes; Binance, Huobi Global, Poloniex, Coinbase, Bitfinex, BitStamp, Kraken etc.

Explain in your own words the difference between decentralization and centralization exchanges (answer should related exchanges ,not over all system.. (answer must be written in oun words, copy paste or from other source copy will be not accepted)

Centralized Exchange	Decentralized Exchange
To have access to centralized exchange, a user needs to undergo some rigorous verification processes like KYC (Know your customer). Without the KYC, a user cannot trade on the platform.	This exchange doesn't require much authentication procedures, there is no verification bottleneck. The trader can trade without KYC.
So many trading fees are attached to centralized exchange.	No trading fee is attached to the exchange.
The exchange interface is very easy to use for both old and new users. It has numerous features that makes it easy for users to enjoy the platform.	It is not as easy as centralized exchange in terms of the numerous features and it's usability.
It is prone to hacking, this is because it works on servers alone.	The exchange cannot easily be hacked, it's operation runs on the blockchain and that is an added advantage of it not being easy to hack.

To me Binance and Poloniex are the 2 best centralized exchange of the year 2021.

Binance:

Binance rank number 1 in the centralized exchange market. It is very reliable. It is lots of useful features which makes it unique. It has thousands of best coins listed in the world. The exchange interface of binance is user friendly to both old and new users. I had used the spot feature to perform trades severally, it is so simple and easy to perform. Though I have not tried the P2P, but a couple of my friends who has used it said it's cool. There are lots of beautiful things to be said about binance, and I recommend binance to anyone who is new in the crypto exchange world and to already existing traders who has not tried it out.

Poloniex:

I have used Poloniex a couple of times though not often, so I rank Poloniex to be the second best centralized exchange in 2021. The interface is easy to study and understand, in other words Poloniex is user friendly by both old and new. Poloniex has lots of coins listed in it's market. A beautiful thing about it is the pair of Steem with usdt.

How to use Uniswap exchange , and Swap/buy or swap/sell any coin (practicle step by step ).

From your coingeko home page, locate Defi coin and click on Decentralized Exchange.

When you click on the connect link, it is meant to navigate you to the next page where you will select swap metamask, but unfortunately, it didn't display on mine. But if you follow these steps, you have successfully used your Uniswap for swapping.
