WHAT IS PoB?

The word PoB is an abbreviation which stands for "Proof of Brain".

Prove of Brain can be explained as a person's inventive thought or spontaneous decision that is collectively assembled in a presentable manner via graphics, writing, acting etc with the mindset of dishing out a content that is of good quality to the public.

It involves the merging together of the reward pool, the weighted mechanism, the influence power (steem power), and the non - dependent knowledge to ascertain the value or quality of a content.

REWARD POOL
This is a reward that is collected from the pool of newly minted tokens which are accumulated in the steem blockchains.
Quality content and proof of brain can be supported by users using their weighted mechanism(Steem Power) to distribute and redistribute rewards.

To cap it all, it serves as an empowerment to the creative contribution, and smartness of all users because it is a decentralized system.
Hence, the reward pool, influence power, good and independent knowledge to pass judgement on content, are collectively identified as "Proof-of-Brain."

WHAT IS CURATION IN STEEM BLOCKCHAIN?

Curation literally means to give somebody something that has monetary value.
The term "curation" in the steem blockchain is encompassing. Some of the things as are enshrined in curation are as follows...

• Going through a post, that is reading a post
• ascertaining the source and originality of a content.
• To creatively make contributions or further improve a content by adding personal Ideas to further redefine it if necessary and especially if the content read adds value.
• Or, such post can be figured out so that the community can know about it.
• Upvote the content with resources within your reach, example, voting power, voting weight, that is if the content is useful. and
• You can resteem a post so that your followers can see it and probably get value from it.

BENEFITS OF BUILDING STEEM POWER "SP"

(SP) is the measurement of the level or volume of recognition that a member of the steemit possesses in the steem ecosystem.

See some of the advantages of powering up your steem below...

• In a general sense, to power up your account is just like buying a stake in a company, you are no more like a stake holder.

• It adds significant value and recognition to your account in the system.

• It places you in a comfortable position of earning more curation rewards.

• It even gives a user hope and courage to continue in the system especially when such user has appreciable amount of steem power, knowing that the steem powered up still belongs to him/her, thus, can still be powered down to his advantage when the need be.

• When I power up my account, it can motivate my followers to do so too. And by so doing I get more values from their reactions on my post anytime they upvotes my content.

• Powering up of your steem is not only useful to me and you, but also to the system itself, especially for community management. It is necessary for sustainablity and preservation of a community's integrity. For example, assuming everybody in the system decides to power down and cash out everything they have in the system, I'm very sure the system would have most likely gone into extinction, because there would be no such thing as curation reward again.

• Especially now there are some new implemented rules and regulations, steem power becomes one of the ardent criteria to become an active member in the cryptoacademy. Say biginners, intermediate, and advanced.

"SELF-UPVOTE" A GOOD OR BAD SOCIAL BEHAVIOR? EXPLAIN WHY?

Speaking my mind, I would say that self Upvote is a very bad social behavior.
The reason is because, voting a post is a process by which users expresses their emotions or opinion over a post made by another user. In that case, your opinion becomes unnecessary since you can't be a judge over your content. But it is left for those who have gone through your content to pass their judgement as to whether such article is good or not, hence, that will be done through voting.

Second reason is that self vote affects percentage of the voting with respect to the voting power that is supposed to be used in upvoting others and this would inturn, impart negatively on the steemit community.

DIFFERENT TOKENS EARNED BY SOCIALIZING IN STEEM BLOCKCHAIN.

The different tokens reacieved as reward in steem blockchain are.

1. STEEM

2)STEEM BACKED DOLLARS &

3)STEEM POWER (SP)

4)TRX

These tokens pays off after a post have stayed upto 7days.
When the rewards are coming to an author, it comes in different percentage/ratio as follows.

(SBD)+(SP)	< 9%
STEEM+SBD+SP	between 10% and 9%

TRX is also earned as a reward in the system and in the ratio of 1:1 of SP to TRX

CONCLUSION
It was a very impactful class with professor @sapwood as Every single topic or concept was thoroughly x-rayed.

I have been able to accomplish this task with the quality knowledge I acquired from this class, I pray it's worth your time.
