Steemit Crypto Academy || My application for Steemit Crypto Professor | by @virajherath

Hello Steemit Team,

The announcement of season six made me excited because I was waiting for it. The evolving changes and the trading contests will be promising for many enthusiast Steemians like me.

For the previous seasons, I was a student and I learned all most everything I know about Cryptocurrency trading from the Steemit Crypto Academy. Therefore, I going to take this opportunity to thank Steemit Team & the Professors for the very successful previous seasons.

In this season, I would like to challenge myself for the Crypto Professor role and extend my experience in the academy.

My experience on Steem

I joined the Steemit platform in September 2018 without knowing a single thing about blockchain & crypto. However, I started to notice the potential of cryptocurrency as a future investment and since then I have had my own research about the subject. There were some bottlenecks without proper guidance at first. I was too afraid to use my hard-earned money as capital to start trading.

However, I got to know about bounty hunting where I can earn some coin just by completing a few tasks. That is where I have earned my first digital currency. It was a safe path to get into the crypto world. With the recent pandemic situation, I have lost my job and had plenty of time to spend on the subject. That is where I rejoined the steemit platform and begin to share my writings. The more time I spend here I have been able to grab more knowledge and many exciting topics from the academy kept me here permanently.

Season 02 is where I started everything seriously. By seasons 4 & 5 I was a confident trader and I was successfully making a good profit from my trading thanks to the strategies I learned from the academy as well as other reading materials. I participated in advanced-level courses all the time and never had marks below 8.

I hope these data can confirm my commitment to the homework for the previous two seasons.

Why I think I would be suitable to become a Steemit Crypto Professor

I have two reasons to think I'm suitable for this position, first, I have a passion for teaching, the main responsibility of the Crypto Professor is to share his knowledge and educate the students. I’ve been working as a digital marketing consultant for over 05 years. Most of the time I have to conduct presentations and prepare study materials on how to improve business for my clientele. This has allowed me to elaborate complicated theories in a very simple manner to be able to interpret my message to the audience.

Secondly, I have enough time to allocate, this role requires time to prepare the lessons and evaluate them. I believe I can allocate full time for this role and be active most of the time.

I believe I have the ability to combine all my experience, crypto knowledge, and tech knowledge to give the readers a better understanding of the course subjects.

This is the outline of the topics I would like to suggest for 5-weeks for newcomers to the crypto world

Newcomers to the crypto world should understand the basic first, Hence I would like to propose these topics for 05 weeks.

_{Week 01}
Beginning at the Beginning:

• Cryptocurrency Fundamentals
• Learn how Cryptocurrency works
• Open your Cryptocurrency exchange accounts

Many newcomers will have a hard time understanding the fundamentals of the subject and the overall picture of Blockchain Technology. In the first week, I will be focusing on how everything works in a summary matter. To make it exciting I will add a tutorial on opening an exchange account (both centralized & decentralized). The homework would be to have student's own exchanges and the theory part from the Fundamentals.

Challenges and opportunities:

• Set your investment strategies
• Finding the correct data
• How to Create a Cryptocurrency Wallet?
• Ways to fall in love with crypto?

After the first week, students should have the basic knowledge to proceed to the investment strategy. In this week, I will explain the component of a good investment plan. For that finding correct data is a must, hence I will focus on the websites they can refer to plan out their strategy. For the tutorial part, I hope to explain how to create a Cryptocurrency Wallet. For the homework, they can choose a wallet and explain the theory behind their investment strategy.

Art of a chart:

• Long term Vs Short term
• How to set a personal goal?
• Let’s measure profit & loss?

Now the students are equipped with an exchange, wallet, and investment plan now I will move to explain the chart and the methods of trading. They can use a demo account to experiment the trading.

Safety first:

• How safe is your crypto wallet?
• Are hackers really matter!
• Paper Wallets Vs online Wallets Vs Hardware Wallets

Many newcomers will be afraid of how secure all this process is. I had many questions about this particular topic, hence I will practically show them what are the precautions we can take as traders as well as how secure the most known platforms/ exchanges / wallets.

Points to consider before moving further:

• Risk tolerance measures
• Evaluate current status
• Regulations and status of your country

Every trader must have a plan to reduce their risk when trading cryptocurrencies. I believe that one has to learn very quickly before moving more capital to the investment. In this week I will discuss the risk management and considerable points to check about the regulation of the country.

My motive is to make more interesting but educating coursework for everyone who tries to get involved in crypto world.
