Steemit Crypto Academy | Homework summary, S4-Week1: Blockchain and the Internet of Things (IoT)

in hive-108451 •  3 years ago  (edited)

A total of 95 homework articles were submitted and reviewed in my week-1 Season 4 Crypto course. Blockchain Technology is indeed very relevant in all sectors of the economy. During last week’s course, we looked at the Integration of Blockchain with the Internet of Things (IoT). I was glad to see that most students were able to expand their knowledge on Blockchain IoT integration with a reference to the Filament project.

My Observations, advice and suggestions

I am still finding lots of typing errors in many students work and such mistakes will always cost you lower ratings for your work. I, therefore, continue advising students to proofread their work to identify those errors and correct them before submitting their work for review. Otherwise, I get biased whenever I find such errors in students work.

There were about 4 invalid entries. These were posted by users who were not eligible to participate in the Advanced level of the Academy. I kindly advise such users to grow their reputation to at least 65 and their steempower to at least 600SP. You should not use bots in trying to grow your steempower. When you use them, you will not be considered as one who is eligible. Your reputation score should be grown without the use of bid bots.

From today onwards you will need to title your homework posts like this; Internet of Things and Blockchain Technology - Crypto Academy / S4W1 - Homework Post for yohan2on and NOT like this; Steemit Crypto Academy – Season 4 - Week 1 - Post for @yohan2on - Advanced professor - Internet of Things and Blockchain Technology. Please be keen on that.
You should be keen on the Exclusive tag because it’s what I mostly focus on. Please be warned that any blunder in the exclusive tag may lead to the skipping of your article both on the review and the curation.

Some users created articles that were less than the set minimum 0f 800 words. I used the smallSeo Tools plagiarism checker to ascertain the number of words used in your articles. Those that came short of that minimum were penalized with low a rating for their work.

Some users used my tag while submitting homework articles for other professors. Kindly stop spam tagging. You are advised to use the appropriate exclusive tag while submitting your homework that is to be attended to by a particular main professor of the week for that course. The other form of spam tagging is tagging Steemcurator02, Steemcurator01 and Steemitblog in your articles. Since all your articles are visited by the professors and the curators, it’s irrelevant to tag the curator accounts.

I encountered a few users that tried setting for themselves another question through using another example of the Blockchain IoT integration instead of the given one “Filament.” Please stick to answering the professor’s question and not setting up your own. Otherwise, your work will be considered as irrelevant content for the homework task and in the end, you get penalized with a lower rating for your work.
