One of the foremost apostles of Jesus Christ, Paul, affirms that a sinner can become a saint if he or she is willing to be transformed.
The unwillingness of a sinner to be transformed into a saint through the redemptive work of Jesus Christ is what condemns him or her to eternal damnation.
Some people make defeatist statements about sin in order to justify their sinful lifestyle. Such people admit that everyone born of a woman is a sinner, but they hypocritically ignore the fact that has made provision available to turn every sinner into a saint by the power of atonement in the Blood of Jesus.
God is not interested in condemning anyone. Jesus is still calling all those who labor and are heavy laden under the yoke of sin to come to him for rest. When anyone comes to Jesus with a repentant heart and cry for mercy, He will abundantly pardon their sins.
It is therefore important for people to take responsibility for their sins in order to receive pardon. Many people shift the blame for their sinful lifestyle to everything but themselves.
Instead of acknowledging and confessing their sins and deciding to abandon the sinful act that have held them bound or so long, they keep making excuses. For example, some thieves and harlots will blame their sinful lifestyle on the economic recession in their country.
