Ephesians 2: 4-5 (NLT) "But God is so rich in mercy and loved us so much that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead *.
Very few manage to understand the magnitude and greatness of God's Love for us. Since man loves so that they love him; But God loves even though we do not love Him. Because He is the very essence of Love.
There are people who think that because they have failed so much, have sinned, or have made many mistakes, they feel that they are unforgivable. They carry their whole lives with guilt and they think that no one, not even God, is going to forgive them.
But God has new mercy every day for everyone. His love is such that if we repent from the heart, He forgives us of any sin. God offers us his love even if we don't deserve it. It is enough for him that we feel terrible about what we did.
If you still think that you do not deserve love, perhaps you have not understood that God loves humanity so much that He sent His only Son, Jesus, to be sacrificed for the sins of all. Giving us the opportunity to be forgiven just by believing in Him.
Jesus did not come into the world looking for perfect or holy people. He just came for all of us, with our strengths and weaknesses. He came to show us his great love and for us to live in love. He said, I came to heal the sick, not those who think they are righteous.
"I have not come to call those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners and need to repent
Luke 5:32 (NLT) ".
If you feel that you do not deserve love, if you feel that you do not deserve forgiveness, I invite you to read the Bible and understand that we have a God who created us and loves us as no one will ever love us. And if you have repented, if what you did hurts and embarrasses you, talk to God, I assure you that he has already forgiven you.
