What a wonder that Jesus is not in the process of taking away our infirmities and sicknesses, He has already taken them away. He bore them upon Himself on the cross. The Bible says in 1 Peter 2:24 – “Who His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes were ye healed”. In Colossians 2:14; the Bible says – “He took it out of the way, nailing it on the cross”.
The truth of the matter is that what He took away from you; no power, no spirit, no personality can put on you. We serve the Judge of all the earth. He is the Head of all principalities and powers, the Father of all spirits and He is your Father. What He ascertains in your life as having been taken away is what no devil big enough in hell can put on you. Jesus did not only take it away from you; He actually nailed them to His cross and made an open show of them, triumphing over the powers that claimed control.
“He took” does not in any way mean that the devil will not harass you with what has been taken. He is such a deviant; that he will come seeking a show to make you feel that God’s Word is not true. Praise God! we know better than that; let every man be a liar, let every devil be a liar, God remains true forever; “In the hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began” Titus 1:2.

God cannot lie; what He took by the death of His Son Jesus has been taken and it is a finished transaction. He is the God of faithfulness, absolutely without injustice. You can be rest assured of His divine backing, as you seek to exercise your covenant right in God over that which has been taken.
It doesn’t matter how the devil comes; the Bible calls him your adversary. He comes to contest what has been taken. No matter how he comes, no matter what he makes you feel concerning what Jesus took; he waits to be confronted with the truth of Christ’s finished work.
You don’t need to keep sealed lips: “Ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence” Isaiah 62:6. Let the devil know that you are in the know of what has been taken. This is the knowledge that makes free.
