The God we serve cares about result. He never does anything just for the fun of it, and so the Almighty God made every one of us with a reason and assignment in mind.
The is nobody on world without a specific assignment. The Almighty God expects our lives to bring forth good result to Him. Unfortunately, a lot of individuals live life on their own terms. They just sail through life without a particular divine purpose; the wind directs their life to the south and they go to the south, and the next moment, the wind directs them to the north and they follow. They don't live their lives with a specific assignment in mind, because they do not value their existence.
There is nothing more better being used of the Lord because the Lord is the best boss that anybody can ever have. It is only in His firm that every work is liberally rewarded. However, the Almighty God is also move by His principles. There are things that you have to do so as to do used of Him. First and foremost, you have to be clean within and without. God will use any king of vessel but God will never use an unclean vessel, except, of course, for unclean and crusty things.
Secondly, you have to desire to know what particular task God has for you.
Your assignment in life is peculiar to you. For instance, even though there were a lot of apostles in the early Church, God still had chose apostle Paul and sent him to the Gentiles.
Even if it look like you have similar assignments with your someone close to you, you do not have the same purpose with them. To know your particular purpose, your spiritual eyes must be open and focused on God’s dictate. When your relationship with God is firm and strong, you will have no issue with keeping your purpose strong and paying attention to Jesus.
It is also in maintaining a solid relationship with God that you will find courage to do all that He asks of you. As you prepare to go into a new year, long to know your particular task from God, and determine to be focused on it.
