Anyone who has a revelation of what worship does to true and genuine worshippers is blessed indeed. The story in Mathew 15:21-28 shows the practical impact of worship.

In that story, a Syro-Phoenician woman came to our Lord Christ whose daughter was seriously possessed by a demon. The Bible says He didn't pay any attention to her, and so the disciples of the Lord Jesus advised that He should just send her away. However, instead of sending the woman away, Jesus creates a chance to dialogue with her and bring her to the saving knowledge of the God of Israel.

The Lord Jesus said this profound statement, I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel. This was the clue the Syro-Phoenician woman needed to turn the situation around. On hearing this, she did something profound which is the area of concentration of our reflection today.

This action by the Syros-Phoenician woman make sure that the Lord Jesus continued to hear her. In their ensuing dialogue, she showed consistent faith which the Lord’s anointing couldn't resist. Jesus acknowledge her faith which came out of spiritual humility.

There are a lot of lessons to learn from this story, but the major focus of these lessons is the art of worship. We should always remember that everybody is the same before the Almighty God, and the reason for their existence is to worship their Maker.

Whether humanity likes it or not, a day is coming when we will all worship before the Most High God.

John 4:23 let us know that the Father seeks those who worship Him. Worship does important things that no other thing can do in the place of prayer.

What can anybody do that could make God do what He would not have done the other way round? The answer is not far-fetched, worship. David worshipped God and God created a bloodline for him.

His son Solomon worshipped God through uncommon sacrifice and got more than he ask for. The Gyro-Phoenician woman worshipped the Lord Jesus Christ and a dog outside the kingdom finally became a child of the kingdom.

As a matter of fact, some dogs acknowledge and worship their owners and end up eating from their master’s table! I want to advise you to always partake in true worship, and you will be surprised by the great breakthrough you will start to experience
