Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.
1peter5:8
The Bible is telling us how God really love the humble. When i said he love the humble, I don’t just mean being humble to him to alone but to everyone around you starting from the elders to the little children.
Let it be known to all just like Christ and the Christians of old. Inwhich you have to be humble to everyone not only to those within your tribes or family but to everyone irrespective of your skin color, language, class and so on.
They are certain blessings that comes with been humble to God. Like in the book of II Chronicles 7:14
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
God appeared to Solomon in his dream and told him what he wants or expect from his people.
I can say being humble is the state of being free from arrogant and pride, asking of help and showing of honesty when needed without the second thought of it, being mindful, being meek and most of all be grateful for what you have.
Christ is a perfect example of a humble person.
PHILIPPIANS 2:3-4
Don't be selfish; don't try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don't look out only for your own interests but take an interest in others, too
Now as a Christian should that be really hard to accomplished?
Will it take anything away from us?
And if Christ can be humble then why not I and you?
In christ all things are possible.
