Before I begin, let me chip in this.
Beyond all the teachings that takes place here, please I beseech ye therefore brethren that you should take your Spiritual growth seriously.
Please study,pray and also conduct yourself well as a believer should to be appear clean and blemish before the lord anytime.
Believers as you are pressing to grow Spiritually remember your conduct/behaviour matters a whole lot because you are role model inwhich the unbelievers looks up to, they read your attitude and behavior as the Bible.
If you speak in tongues and yet your character is not aligning with scriptures, you need to check yourself thoroughly.
Believers are not majorly known for their gifts.
Matthew 7:16
Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns,or figs of thistles?
From time to time, please examine yourself through the eyes/lense of Jesus so we wouldn’t be distracted by the things of the world.
So the big question that we should be conscious of his this;
Would Jesus act like the way I just acted?
Let's all examine ourselves...I'm not excluded.
Don't say... You see this is the way I am, am always like this”No personal excuses
Nope! We should always press further to become like Jesus.
This is the hallmark of our spiritual focus and growth.
Like I said always have it in mind that unbelievers are watching you closely and would your conduct draw or pursue men to or away from Christ?
The choice is yours to make.
Remember....the Believer is the temple of God and in him, God dwells.
Now I said yesterday that we come to church to practice and dispense God's presence in our church meetings.
This means that we believer are carriers of God’s glory anywhere we go.
We are not going to that meeting to seek the presence, we carries the presence.
God is dispensed through the exercise of Spiritual gifts, Preaching, Spiritual songs and prayers.
He said,When two or three are gathered in God's name, God is there.
This is why we make statements like OLord Have Your Way
O lord move in your glory
O lord Move By Your Spirit And Your Powers
When we sincerely utter statements like this, we are giving permission for heaven to reveal Gods presence.
God's presence is not a teaching, it is a revelation.
Believers who understand that they carry God in them go to church meetings in boldness and confidence.
They will pray, they would prophesy and exercise other Spiritual gifts.
This is how it should be in church meetings where we teach more about Christ for revival to take place.
Revival will only come when we teach the pure truths of Jesus.
