Currently I have many family members outside the country, and panic strikes them because the impact of contagion in the places where they are is very alarming.

When they communicate with us, their nervousness and concern are evident, of course, not least, especially when you hear the news of what is happening in Spain, Italy, the USA and other countries in our region. Every time they call me, I have to encourage them by the word of God. It is very simple to understand that people who do not have Christ in their hearts do not have the facility that a believer has to defend himself with the word of God. However, this does not mean that Christians do not also invade fear, only that we have a powerful weapon that defends us and is the sword of the Spirit, which is the very word of God.

In the day, that fear wants to invade us, it is necessary to consider the word that we have read at the beginning of the publication, "In God I trust". If we speak with confidence and full confidence that God is with us, then we know that perfect love, which is Christ, frees us from fear. What we should not be is to tempt God, if we know that a person is infected, the prudent thing is to keep considerable distance and abide by the security measures implemented by the national government.

On the day that I fear, it is when I must put my trust in God the most, and be sure that He will help me to overcome the fears and panic that dangerous situations generate. Trusting God implies resting in his arms and leaving our anxieties and concerns at his feet.
