I really don't want to talk to you about a log or a piece of wood exemplified on a cross as many people see it and even idolize it, I want to tell you about the work of the cross which was the only thing that could bring freedom to humanity.
The apostle Paul was one of the men who suffered the most for the cause of the Lord and after he was transformed by God he lived a whole life and gave himself to the Lord, I want you to understand that Paul had to glory, however he said the following:
Galatians 6:11
14 But far be it from me to boast, but on the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified to me, and I to the world.
(RVR1960).
The apostle Paul gives us a great lesson and teaching through these words when he humbly assumes that he is far from glorying in anything but if he has something to glory in, it is from the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ.
It should be understood that this is generally not the cross as such, as I mentioned earlier, it is really from the work that Jesus Christ did on the cross one day more than three thousand years ago, the cross had its representation but up to that point what influenced humanity and in history it is all the work carried out in it, that is, the most sublime and wonderful act of surrender to the crucifixion for love of each one of us.
The cross represents the greatness of God's love, the most incomprehensible and extraordinary love that the human mind can imagine, love that saved you, love that created you, love that I preserve you, love that comes into your life at this moment to give you life and life in abundance.
The work of the cross brought us total provision for our life and in honor of what God did to save us from eternal damnation as his children we must live a life of gratitude and dedication to God honoring his name and doing everything that to our father he likes it.
It is then, the work of the cross our greatest glory, it is the work of the cross that motivates us to love life, it is the work of the cross that leads us to believe in the love of that wonderful God who gave everything for love of you and me are the work of the cross that today keeps us on our feet believing in his eternal promises.
WITH LOTS OF LOVE!
