THE CONQUEST OF THE 300 MEN OF GEDEON

Judges 7
16 And dividing the three hundred men into three squadrons, he gave all of them trumpets in their hands, and empty jars with burning torches inside the jars.
17 And he said to them: Look at me, and do as I do; behold, when I reach the end of the camp, you will do as I do
18 I will blow the trumpet, and all who will be with me; and you shall then blow the trumpets all around the camp, and say: By the Lord and by Gideon!
19 So Gideon and the hundred men with him came to the end of the camp, at the beginning of the midnight watch, when they had just renewed the sentries; and they blew the trumpets, and broke the pitchers that they carried in their hands.
20 And the three squadrons blew the trumpets, and breaking the pitchers, they took the torches in the left hand, and the trumpets with which they blew in the right, and shouted: By the sword of the Lord and of Gideon!
21 And each one stood at his post around the camp; then the whole army ran screaming and fleeing.

"As conquest, the action and effect of conquering is known, that is, winning a certain territory or position through a military operation. Population or territory whose dominion and control is achieved as a result of a war"

In this sense to conquer means: achievement, victory, trophy, triumph, laurel ... and to conquer requires faith effort dedication courage because this story tells us how Gideon conquered the Midianites, the Amalekites and the children of the East who were there with three hundred men. They were lying in the valley like locusts in multitude, and their camels were numberless as the sand that is on the shore of the sea in multitude.

The 300 men of Gederon conquered the battle because they were going to fight with the tools that God had given them to do so, God does not always use the same instruments to give us victory, he does according to his sovereignty, regardless of who or how many may be against us.

My friend, this story can also give us examples about the various battles that as humans we have to face along the way and that we find difficult because we do not have the necessary tools to fight them since we must keep in mind that we live in a world full of chaos and crisis where there is inevitably fear insecurity doubt but God helps us to fight because no one with fear or doubt can conquer
