In this order of ideas we read in the proverb the following:
Proverbs 16:32
32 Better is he who is slow to anger than a mighty man, and he who rules over his spirit than he who takes a city.
(RVR1960)
Currently men are carried away by highly offensive actions against others, but we Christians have our manual of very helpful advice where it teaches us the attitudes of the foolish and the actions of the wise or prudent. For example in the verse
quoted we read how provocative a powerful and angry person can be who seizes his spirit to provoke another, but the bible teaches us how our attitude should be in such a situation
and that self-discipline is more important and more difficult than physical strength
In such a way that you do not let yourself be provoked by anyone or anything, do not lose your temper and exercise self-control because better is the one who takes time to get angry than the strong. God is willing to give us that domain that we need before this type of people to be able to control our impulses and find kind words even when those who do not speak do so with hurtful words.
There are things that in order to win you have to be a stable person and you have to start applying pressure, do not let yourself be provoked, handle yourself with a firm spirit, remember that one thing is to respond affably and another thing is to get angry in a moment of outburst, it can fall into things that then you regret, you have to ask God for the direction of the holy spirit, because there are people who under pressure can cause you to explode and not make the right decisions
Remember that God is with you and it is better when God is with us so no one else is. God has enabled you to give yourself self-control when you identify with whom you are fighting; stand firm do not let yourself be provoked because remember that the war that we fight is not carnal it is spiritual
Stand your ground because the soft word placates anger but the hurtful word provokes anger
Powerful men and all those who like to take cities to do evil always want to get rid of a person who acts prudently, but we must remember that violence provokes violence but the prudent and the wise move away when they see both coming already that God has given us a spirit of power and self-control</center<.
