Humility

James 4:6; But he gives more grace thus he says God resisted the proud and gives grace to the humble.

Jesus Christ the son of God, our lord and personal savior is and was humble during his time on this planet earth and continue even into death and resurrection, he gave us the perfect examples of a perfect life of righteousness and holiness without sin or blemish. He came to serve humanity even though he is God and allowed himself to be made flesh in the likeness of man, he was humble to such an extent the devil even had the guts to test him and man had the nerve to flog and beat him up and nail him to a cross whiles at any point in time he could have just commanded anything to happen.

Now as Christians who are Christ-like and follow in the steps of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is it pertinent that we learn to be humble just like our master did that we may be attained grace and be exalted as Christ was at the end of his tenure as a man. God exalts those who humbles themselves and fights for those who would not fight for themselves. Humility is not as easy as it may seem but with the Spirit of God in you, the holy spirit guiding you and the scriptures as you life guide, you are bound to succeed.
