2 Timothy 1:13-14; What you heard me teach is an example of what you should teach. Follow that model of right teaching with the faith and love we have in Christ Jesus. This teaching is a treasure that you have been trusted with. Protect it with the help of the Holy Spirit, who lives inside us.
There are two things we have been given in our journey us Christians in ensuring that we do not leave the path made for us by our Lord and in helping us to stand firm against the whims and caprices of the devil. These are our treasure which we ought to hold dearly and never let go nor let anyone take it away from us. The first being the Holy Spirit who is our guide and comforter in the physical absence of our Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Bible, our instructional daily guide covering every single aspect of life and how to be a better of a good Christian for that matter.
Now we the bible teaches us that our hearts lie where our treasure is, so for those whose treasure is their wealth that all they think about or dream about their every action or move is their money in the same vain if your treasure is in the Lord and the things of the heavenly you safe guard your spirit and focus your everything in the ways of the Lord. The Question i want to ask you today is where does your heart lie? What do you deem your treasure? Keep your focus in the Lord and your work will never be in vain.
