Your Identity in Christ

Identity Crisis is a common problem amongst the youth of today. Many are facing so much challenge with identifying who or what they really are so much so that we are having lots of gender issues in our time. Peer pressure is such a powerful force that one can easily fall prey to what the crowd is doing or pushing for.

Unfortunately our youth in the Christian are also allowing themselves to be affected and moved by this crisis going on in the world now. It is understandable to a point though because the teenage years and the transition of a young adult to an adult has lots of its own mental health and ups and downs.

However, as Christians we have a special dispensation, we are privileged to have the Holy Spirit ready to aid us in everything we do, we have him to guide and direct our path and shield us from all the brouhaha that is in the world that is pushing people to do things that ain't right in the name of peer pressure or everyone is doing it.

As Christians we do not follow the crowd, we follow the narrow path of righteousness and salvation, we have to know this and consciously live in it with effort to always do right by ourselves and of God that we do not stray from the good path we have chosen.

It is when are able to do this that we have ben certain of our identity in Christ, if you cannot call yourself a son or daughter of God, then there is good chance you would experience identity crisis in your Christian faith, and so hold on to your faith, pray, do as the bible command us and let the Holy Spirit lead and guide you in everything you.

And you can be rest assured of a certain identity in Christ Jesus endorsed by the father. May our faith and identity remain certain in our Christian faith even as we strive to be better and do better each and everyday. May the Good Lord be with you even as you continue to have good week.
