Hello brothers and sisters in Christ, may the peace of the Lord be with us all. I hope God's kept each and every one of us safe in these hard times.
I recently heard a story at church which I loved so much; it was more than inspiring. This story, when carefully analysed, gives insight on how strong we can be and how ignorant we've been of our potential all these while. I just hope you also learn something from it.

"This story talks about an animal farmer who happened to find an egg in a nearby forest. He gave this unique egg to one the brooding hens to hatch along with the other eggs.
When the eggs hatched, it turned out the unique egg was that of an Eagle.
So the farmer decided to rear the Eagle along with the other chicks and it worked perfectly.
The eagle did everything like a chicken, ate like one, walked like one and never had a thought in mind to ever fly away.
There were times the Eagle saw other eagles fly above him and always wondered how on earth they could they fly at all but he couldn't. He had tried many times but failed and always concluded that he was a real chicken who just looked like an eagle, maybe.

Other eagles flying

Then a day came when a friend visited the farmer. He observed the plenty fowl around and spotted this unique bird, the eagle. He asked the farmer why the eagle was among the chickens and the farmer told him the eagle couldn't fly and it had probably accepted its fate( that it was a chicken and would die a chicken).
So the friend tried to help the eagle, so that it could fly; so that it could go to its natural abode and be free from the deception it had known all these years.
So he took the eagle to a mountain top and held it in the air and said " Eagle, you're mighty and strong, you're the king of all birds. You do not belong here, fly high to your home and don't come back!". After saying these words, he gently released the eagle. As the eagle fell, it started spreading it wings and before they knew it, it was flying upwards and going higher!
Both the farmer and his friend got very excited and started cheering the eagle. And truly, the eagle didn't go back to the farmstead...."

This story, when carefully analysed, can be likened to our individual lives. Of course it's nothing but just a story, a story that has been fabricated by some writer or motivational writer/speaker.
But looking at this story carefully and comparing it to our lives, we can see that, the living of most of us reading this can be compared to that of the eagle.
We've been deceived so many times about things in this life. Our minds think of some things to be so great or grand for us to the extent that we think they're impossible to be done or achieved by us.

We think some things are impossible to be achieved

Sometimes we succumb to the deceptions of the world and try not to even seek for the truth in them; we simply accept them just how they are and how they've been told to us, and think they're normal.
The eagle, throughout almost half of its life, was living a life of a deception, thinking it was nothing greater than a chicken. That's how some of us are; sometimes we think " oh, i can't go any further", " I can't get to this stage", " I can never get enough to afford this", etc.

All these things are lies we tell ourselves each day. Of course we know ourselves, yes, we know the family we were born into, we know how poor we are, we know how sick we are and we know how broken we are, yes we do! But the wonderful thing is, God is also aware of our plights.

Just like how the man took the eagle out and made it realise it's strength and capabilities, God will do same with us and for us. Don't ever think it is too late, don't ever think you don't deserve something grand, don't ever think you're not good enough or think you're not capable of something you wish to do.
God knows we are weak and feeble and that's why He's there for us. And think of it, once God has done for others, why can't He do it for you too? You're His son ot daughter too.
All we have to believe is, God's time is the best and He only works at the right time.
Just like how the eagle lived its life not knowing how to fly and only flew after it was motivated and aided, God will do same for us, in His own right time.

God helps us in His own time

I just pray that you'll have hope in the Lord no matter what youre going through and have the belief that God will come to your aid. Never give up in this life and never fall for the deceptions of the world.

Thanks for reading and I hope you get motivated.
God bless us and May He be with us all 🌹✌🏽🙏🏾.

Regarding this topic, I can say that definitely in God if we are able to reach places where we never thought we would reach, the Lord takes us to high places like that eagle that you placed in your publication, he lifts us up and does not abandon us.
