Protect Your Eyes

Really everything comes first to the eyes, perhaps long before the heart, so it is important that we learn to see things as God looks at them, in this verse tells us that if the eye is good the whole body will be full of light, so we must be very careful with what we see, how we feed our sight, what we like, to which direction we should look.

There will always be two ways of seeing things, either light or darkness, if we see how God does then there will be light in us, and if there is light in us, our whole life will show it.

If our eyes are contaminated so is the rest of our body, that is why the bible says that in everything pure, in everything honest, in that, we must think, so our sight will also be focused on it, and our body will walk and dwell in the light.

It is important the way we look at things, because it will define our way of life, we should always try to look only at things that edify our life.

Proverbs 4: 25-26 Let your eyes look at what is right, and let your eyelids be directed toward what is before you. Examine the path of your feet, and let all your ways be straight.

If we are interested in looking only at what pleases God, we will live a pleasant life, that is what we must lead every area of our life and that can only be achieved through our eyes, how we feed what comes through them, we must always try to look at what is right, if we are interested in spiritual things our being, mind and body will also be filled spiritually and we will surely walk in light and pleasing God in everything.

When you feel that what you are looking at does not conform to what God establishes, stop and begin to change, and above all begin to look at how God looks, fill your whole being with light through the lamp of the body which are your eyes.
