Galatians 5:24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
The flesh is the adamic nature in man, that craves for anything against God's principles.
Thus, to belong to Christ, one must crucify(subdue, deny of power) the flesh.
The lust of the eyes, the pride of life and all manner of sin are the fruits of continuous freedom of the flesh to choose.
The human desire can't choose the things of God, only the Spirit of God does.
Thus, in order to give full control of our lives to Christ, we must choose the leadership of the Holy spirit.
Are you still battling with the flesh? Christ is the only solution. Go to Him today, for He's the deliverer from the flesh.

Dear Father, thank you for giving us access to freedom from the works of the flesh. Please empower us to crucify the flesh and live in holiness forever, in Jesus name. Amen.
