Galatians 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
The attitude of goodness towards people is a major instruction from God, especially for such a time like this.
Brethren, although it has come to a point that we need to be led by the Holy Spirit before helping people, we are still expected to help.
Most times people we assist are the ones the devil use to have access to us.
But today, the Lord says don't be weary, tired or discouraged from doing the right thing.
This is because the harvest depends on it. Every help, assistance or act of kindness is a seed that will surely bring fruits.
Have you ever wondered why a stranger favoured you? That someone you haven't seen before just decided to help without anything attached?
It could be a fruit from the help you rendered to that person that paid you back with insult. For the fact that they paid you back with evil doesn't mean that the right harvest will not come.
Brethren, note that the harvest will not always come from the person you helped.
Be kind to everyone but look up to God for your reward. There's a due season and when it's time nothing will take away your reaping. Wait on God, not man.
Let's pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for rewarding our little kindness towards people with bountiful rewards. Please give us the grace and strength to do more, in Jesus name. Amen.
