For it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Heb.10:31
The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God my strength in whom I will trust, my bukler and the horn of my salvation and my high tower.
There in psalm 18:2, David the psalmist acknowledge God as his rock, his fortress and deliverer, he saw the need to trust and depend on the rock which is God.
This message is a critical warning to mankind from God..
Fall on the rock or the rock will fall on you.

WHAT OR WHO IS THE ROCK
Jesus is the rock, the psalmist in psalm 31:3 said for thou art my rock.
The rock in this case means judgement. Jesus said he can make alive and also kill so he is the rock.
You can gently collide with the rock or the rock will surely fall on you in judgement
Jesus said in John 12:48 he that rejected me and recieveth not my words hath one that judgeth him: the word I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. God's punishment is unever.
HOW CAN WE FALL ON THE ROCK;
Jesus said in John 12:36 while ye have light believe in the light that ye may be children of light
-Being firstly born: John 3:3 said except a man be born again he can't see the kingdom of God.
Being born again is the main criteria for falling on the rock
-santification: Sanctification is only thing you should need after being born again
It is the process where you are totally free from sin and it's grip.
HOW CAN WE AVOID THE ROCK FALLING ON US
-Stay pure and holy
-turn away from sinful life 1 John 1:8-10 says if we say that we have no sin, we decive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
-Avoid the wrath of God: Rev. 3;16 says so then because thou art lukewarm and neither hot or cold I will spue thee out of my mouth.
-Have a cordial relationship with God
-Live by the word of God
-Live a transparent life as Jesus did
