Good evening everyone,I'm very much happy to write on the topic ; Ask ,seek , knock .

Matthew 7:7

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

Well ,I will said this is one of my best bible portion ever, I meditate on it everyday and night because Christ has given us full assurance that we should ask God for what we want and we will get it, look for what we want and we will find it, just knock and the door will be open. This should give us confidence that our heavenly father loves us so much and He want the best for us.

Our God is a good father he cannot give us what is wrong for us. let take a look at ourselves when will where young ,we ask from our parents things that where not just right, they will end up promising us and sometimes come up with some reason before they can give to us what we ask from them.
perhaps our children has done the same thing to us. You wouldn't let your children look for milk in the cabinet where you keep your cleaning supplies. But sometimes we are looking for what we think we need in all the wrong places.

Yes Jesus told us to keep asking for what we need and we received it. But he also expects that we will be asking for the right things. We should not be bombarded with ads that tell us what we need to do or own in order to be happy, but are those things truly what we need?

Jesus tells us that we need hearts that are open to others, that we must be people of peace and forgiveness, and when we ask for the gift of the Holy Spirit, we will surely receive. When we pray, do we ask God to give us those things which He knows we need in order to be happy .or do we go to God with answer to our problem ?or Do we ask for what the media says we need.? If we leave the decisions up to God ,then we will always received what we ask for .we will also find what we ask for and doors will be open at our knocks.

Jesus let us understand that if we love him and abide with his word, that we can ask for anything in his name and we will received all we ask through his name .so let us have confidence and faith in the word of God . whatsoever things , whatsoever burdens ,pains , frustrations,delays and hardship that we might face here on earth .our heavenly father knows everything about us and he is ever ready to answer us whenever we call upon him .

May God help us to know what things to ask for that will lead us to his glory .Amen
