Good evening everyone

I'm much delighted to be here. first of all, I will love to ask how was today service ? Mine was awesome. I will like to share this wonderful insight to everyone here and will love to learn from others here .

Beloved brothers and sisters We know about the story of Jonah in the bible on how he left the presence of God and run away to hide himself. He didn't like the plan the lord planned for him . so he ran sailed in opposite direction, we know the end of the story as well.

Jonah 1:1-3 :- Now the word of the Lord came unto Jonah the son of Amittai, saying,Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me. but Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the Lord, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the Lord.

I always love the story of Jonah because it reminds me of my often unwillingness in the work of God . Each of us are called to serve others in one way or the order. we should not be like Jonah who ran away from serving the soul God sent him to safe, but he was later captured by God which he slept in the belly of the fish for three days, and he was vomited in the dry land, then he realizes the power of God which is capable to give and take life away, he repented and begins the work of God by preaching the gospel to the people of Nineveh.

we enjoined you all to refrain from been like Jonah so that the wrath of God will not befall us just like Jonah . have we ever wonder of the grace God bestowed upon us? Beloved brothers and sisters, it will be nice if we refrain from our sins and disobedience ways and turn to God inorder to discovered our purpose as God children.
God challenges each of us, just as he challenged Jonah to go in a direction not of our choosing. We can run in the opposite direction, but sooner or later, God points us in the right direction and our lives are better for it, and his mission for us, is accomplished.

May God help us to follow his will and do the right thing at the right time so as to avoid God wrath but received blessings.
