One thing that calls for attention is the place where Jesus is, right now; because, it is the place that is divinely billed to be your habitation when you leave this part of creation. There is a place beyond where you are in, right now. The Bible makes it clear; that, “here we have no continuing city, but we seek one to come” Hebrews 13:14. Jesus has gone to prepare a place for us and He is coming again to receive us unto Himself; that where He is, there we shall be also
When your life on earth is done and you are nowhere to be found in this place; can it be said concerning you, that you are where Jesus is? It is God’s will that you be where He is; but, whether you eventually make it there is something that is completely left for you to determine. God cannot be mocked, neither can Hebe deceived; whatever a man sows, that shall he reap also.
You cannot afford to be given to a life of riotous living and expect to be found where Jesus is. You cannot afford like Samson; to stay positioned on Delilah’s laps and expect to wake up in Abraham’s bosom. The Bible says in Revelation 21:27; that, “There shall in no wise enter into it anything that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, nor maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life”.
The place where Jesus is which is the place divinely earmarked for the redeemed of the Lord is not cheap. It took Jesus to shed His precious blood to guarantee your safety permit: “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his own life for his friends” John 15:13. So much has gone into securing your right to get in there. If much has been put in place to help you get in; you will do well by helping yourself to ensure you don’t miss it.
Where Jesus is, is a prepared place for a prepared people and that is why it calls for serious attention. Are you really prepared? It is a preparation that you cannot shift to any particular time in the future; now is the accepted time. In the words of the songwriter – “Yesterday is gone and tomorrow may never be mine”.
It is a preparation that evokes a daily application of your whole being to the principles and sanctity entrenched in God’s Word. It is a preparation that forbids your participation in the unfruitful works of darkness. Are you ready for the place where Jesus is?
