Immediately after Jesus was baptized, a glorious voice came declaring "This is my beloved Son," that authoritative voice was the voice of the heavenly Father, publicly declaring that Jesus was his Son and that his origin was from heaven.

Just as Jesus belongs to the family of the Kingdom of God in heaven, we also have an earthly family. The God the Father made his public declaration that the man who had been baptized was his Son, of whom he was not ashamed, but pleased.

God teaches us not to be ashamed of our children, but, on the contrary, we must assume the challenge, that our family also belongs to the Kingdom of heaven, that was the only reason why God sent his Son Jesus Christ to earth , to break the curse of sin and transform the heart of man and his family so that they have a new family belonging to heaven.

Let us not establish as a father that we only serve Christ, but that we must strive so that our whole family also belongs to Christ and belongs to the Kingdom of God in heaven. No one can be responsible for your family other than yourself. It is you that God is going to sue for your family. We must declare as God did with Jesus, and say "This is my family that belongs to the kingdom of heaven in which God is pleased."
