GOD'S TEST

Good moment lovely children of the God, glor be to Elohim to come your way once again with another exciting word of God.
Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness (James 1: 2‭ -‬3)
The Holy Bible reveals that the Almighty God visits people. That is an amazing truth you and I need to know that we don't miss His visitations. But another parallel truth is that God also tests us, This is a very important fact we must not miss. God doesn't only visits people, He also tests them.
The Bible teaches that God tests our faith, as today's devotion Scripture shows, and He also tests our obedience and faithfulness, our motives and motivations and finally our maturity.
God would either tests us directly, for example, He tested that of Abraham (Gen 22:1), or indirectly either by using the devil to test us, for example, He permitted Satan to do it for Him in Job's life (Job 1&2), or by using every day life troubles, problems and challenges we face to do it for Him, for example, He did that to king Hezekiah (2 Kings 20: 12 - 19, 2 Chron 32: 31). But whatever means He chooses, the fact remains that you and I would be tested by God.
Since we know by now that we are going to face God's testing one way or the other, the obvious question is, "how should we respond to His tests?
To be frank here, one thing students don't like is exams or tests. Because it reveals how prepared or unprepared they are, and how serious they are with their studies. And I bet you, most of us approach God's test the same way, very unprepared, not serious and ignorant.
But this attitude of us must change from today, especially for us Christians. For we cannot be Christians or disciples without taking God serious and not prepared for them. As we will know tomorrow, His tests are meant to bring us promotions, blessings and progress. This is what the lives of the people we read in the Bible teach us, people such as Abraham, Joseph, David and even Jesus. I want you to know this truth, most of the blessings, favors and power God bestows on people come not because they have prayed, it's because they have passed God's test. And you and I have got to learn these truths and become recipients of God's blessings.
Thank you Father for your blessings that comes to us through testings and visitations. May we from today begin to receive them as we submit ourselves to your testings and visitations in Jesus name. Amen
