Equality of Spiritual Gifts

Good day Heart Church, how have we been?. So this is going to be my first post on heart Church and I am happy that I am going to be sharing what I have learnt as a believer with you. I'm going to be talking about Equality of Spiritual Gifts from Ephesians 4:11-16 and I hope that everyone that reads this post will be blessed.

Ephesians 4:11-16 says 11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— 16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

In this Bible verses we have been made to understand that there are no levels to this gifts, which means that everyone with each gift has his own peculiarity and we as Christians are a body and just like we have different parts of the body and each part has its own function, and we can't say a body is complete without the hands, or legs.

We are to are to edify each other with those gifts in love, we shouldn't make any of our brethren feel or think low of themselves because of our gift and we should also not feel like our gifts are not as good as that of our brethren own, by doing so we won't be able to achieve the reason why God gave us those gifts in the first place which is to edify the whole body of Christ and so that we won't be tossed around like kids by the world.

So don't ever forget that everyone one is unique and before God we are all equal the only difference will be the impact we make with our gifts.
