Obedience to God is liberation from the bondage of sin, freedom from human impulses and passions. It will be possible for a person to triumph over himself, defeat his inclinations and be a winner of the "authorities" and the "authorities", "the rulers of the darkness of this world" and "the evil spirits of heaven" (Eph . 6, 12).

If parents could trace the consequences of their actions and understand that thanks to their example and instruction, the forces of sin or the forces of justice would take root and increase, they would certainly change a lot for the better. Many would abandon their old customs and habits and accept the divine rules of life.

A society is made up of families and will always be what their family heads will do. The "sources of life" come from the heart (Prov. 4, 23), and the family is the heart of society, the church, and the people. The well-being of society, the success of the church, and the prosperity of people depend on the influence of the family.

From the life of Jesus you can see how important the influence of the family is. He came from heaven to become our Example and Teacher, and spent thirty years as a member of the family in Nazareth. Very little is said about these years of his life in the Scriptures. The great miracles did not draw people's attention to him. An impatient crowd did not follow him on the heels to hear his words. And yet, during these years, he fulfilled the divine commission. He lived as one of us, participated in the life of the family, obeyed the family order, carried out his duties, bore his share of responsibility. Under the quiet refuge of a humble family, participating in their experiences and ordinary actions, "he succeeded in wisdom and in age and in love for God and man" (Luke 2:52).

The first years of the Savior's life are not only an example for youth; They contain a teaching that should inspire all parents. The circle of family and neighbors with their responsibilities is the first field of activity for those who work to raise the spiritual level of their neighbors. There is no more important field of activity than that entrusted to the founders and custodians of the family. No other work entrusted to people is more important and does not have more important consequences than the work of parents.

The future of society depends on the youth and children of the present, and what they become youth and children depends on the family. A large proportion of disease, poverty and crime, under whose curse humanity suffers, is a consequence of the lack of adequate education in the family.

If life in the family were clean and true, if children surrounded by family concerns came out into the world prepared to face the responsibilities and dangers of life, our world would be different.

In general, it takes a lot of effort, time and money, and an infinite effort is made to correct the lives of people who have become victims of bad habits through various projects and in various institutions. But these efforts are not enough to meet all needs.

Many seek a better life, but lack the courage and determination to overcome the power of habit. They are afraid of making an effort, they are afraid of the struggle and the sacrifice that is demanded of them; therefore, his life is unsuccessful and leads to death.

Therefore, even people with a great mind, with high aspirations and a wonderful reserve of energy, who could occupy important positions and responsible for their skills and education, are in the lowest position, and their lives, both present and future, it is lost.

For those who are trying to improve, the fight for the loss of human dignity can be difficult. Many people have been reaping the fruits of their sinful sowing their entire lives: frustrated health, weak will, impaired mental abilities, and weakened soul powers. They could have accomplished much more in their lives if they had started fighting evil in time.
